"Fixed" Grenade pin pulling

Attention people in the comments, I made a discovery from doing some basic research. It is possible to put the pin back in the grenade, so long as the lever isn't released. And considering that whenever you switch from a weapon in your inventory to a grenade, you always see the animation of Gordon pulling the pin, it is also possible that is what he is doing. So he's not dumb, just reckless.

the grenade doesn't even start until he lets the lever go, and even if he puts it in his pocket, this shouldn't be your only concern because he has 10 other weapons on him

i mean the pin isnt the one that ignites grenades. well the comments below me do make a better point

@RETROCHUG but you could put the grenades away and pull out another weapon, which makes it so he has an armed bomb in his pocket

but then how would he put it in his butt without the pin? what if he doesnt clench hard enough and it falls out??

No because as long as he keeps the lever pushed, the grenade's fuse doesn't start.
