D-700 Destroyer

The D-700 Destroyer "Dauntless" is in essence the smaller sister to the D-825 "Wraith", being less armored while being more heavily armed. The lower weight and added gyroscopes both allow for faster target acquisition with the forward facing Artillery Cannons. It trades a more versatile load-out for heavier ship-to-ship firepower.
The ship is not built for planetary flight.

The ship can be crewed by 1-3 people, with 3 cockpits and Cryo-rooms to match.

The ship features:
- A mix of light and heavy armor, most armor focused in the front.
- Both ion and hydrogen propulsion, for a bit of versatility.
- A small but pressurised interior.
- 2 Hydrogen Engines and 8 Nuclear Reactors.
- 4 Large and 5 Small Hydrogen Tanks.
- 3 Jump Drives, all set up in the main cockpit for either long jumps or shorter individual jumps back-to-back.
- a repair system for the turrets.
- A full AI Core, so full automation is possible
- Survival kit and Refill Station

Weaponry:
- 8 Artillery turrets.
- 5 Gatling turrets.
- 8 Interior turrets as point defence.
- 5 Forward Facing Artillery Cannons.
