MCo-490 Corvette

The MCo-490 "Hammer" is the first corvette in the fleet, based on the design of the D-825 Destroyer. It features the same basic frame, but significantly shorter and less armored. Designed as a support vessel, it is meant to escort larger ships or attack in groups. Its staggered missile barrage could inflict massive damage on static or slow moving targets or serve as a distraction for point defence weapons.
It is primarily designed for space-flight, but is capable of traversing any atmosphere in case a planetary assault is needed.

The ship can be crewed by 1-3 people, with 3 cockpits and Cryo-rooms to match.

The ship features:
- Primarily Light Armor, most of the heavy armor having been replaced for a lighter design.
- Both ion and hydrogen propulsion, with a Large Atmospheric Thruster to assist with planetary flight.
- A small but pressurised interior.
- 2 Hydrogen Engines and 2 Nuclear Reactors.
- 2 Large and 5 Small Hydrogen Tanks.
- A Jump Drive.
- a repair system for the turrets.
- A full AI Core, so full automation is possible
- Survival kit and Refill Station

Weaponry:
- 1 Artillery turret.
- 4 Assault Cannon turrets.
- 5 Gatling turrets.
- 4 Rocket Turrets.
- 4 Forward Facing Rocket Launchers.
- 1 Spine mounted Artillery Cannon.
