Strasburg Rail Road & Amtrak Keystone Corridor

Ever wanted to try your hand at running the Strasburg Rail Road's busiest schedule? Hop on in and get ready to work hand throw switches, manage train meets at Cherry Hill, and watch as Amtrak flies by Leaman Place on the Keystone Corridor.

The Strasburg schedule recreated is the December weekend schedule with 2 passenger trains running half-hourly service from 9am to 5pm plus the 7pm "Night Before Christmas train", and a morning freight run that leaves Strasburg at 6am and returns at 10am between the passenger trains.

In order to keep the Keystone section of the map slightly interesting, a weekday Amtrak schedule was used. The Amtrak line is fleeted so you won't have to tend to it other than allowing trains onto the line at Lancaster or Parkesburg (or you could set those two portals to auto-accept trains and just let it do its thing).

I highly recommend running this map mostly on the 25X time multiplier. The only time you will need to slow down to the 3X or maybe 1X multiplier is when the freight train is running in the morning. Using this method, total scenario run time should be anywhere from about 45 min to 1 hour.
