描述
Allows you to draw a custom-sized letterbox, see screenshots
Comes with an optional light above your head

Movie bars, film bars, black bars, HD bars, Hollywood bars, ceno0 bars, TV burners, whatever you want to call them. They're here, and they're yours. Just in time for an amateur Halloween video, no?


Other features include:
  • Switching between different draw levels (behind entities, behind viewmodel, HUD)
  • Custom color and strength for letterbox and light
  • Vertical mode (e.g. 4:3)
  • Tilting the letterboxes and mirroring them
  • Arcade mode that scales to HP
  • (Experimental) Depth based render


Most mods I used in the screenshots are in the video description. Also, if you're an artwork maker, I recommend checking out my "similar" masking mod

I just realized how effective and immersive the jumpscares that are headcrabs are, using this. (shit my pants) Is it possible to have an option that only goes through NPCs/ragdolls? If it's not too much trouble :tobdog:

Yeah, there's sadly no render hook after world and before dynamic entites, so level 0 doesn't look good at high height settings. But it does look pretty good on lower ones like in my video

note that when i use the 0 option on the level toggle it likes to show the map entities too. kinda annoying.

I don't know if I'll get around to even more position customization, but I was able to add a depth based letterbox (although it does not support most settings). Have fun messing around with it! See last screenshot for an example.

oh OH CAN YOU ADD 2 VERTICAL LINES? like the 3D effect without glasses :steamhappy: like this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lsRqIwS9Iho that would be so COOL, and hard to make i think... becouse it needs like a depth slider, thank you for making this!
