This is my small guide for a movement glitch I found that made the game A LOT more fun.

Its simple really. Simply Dash and right after dashing jump. You will retain a lot of momentum and speed and you can spam this to basically double your speed.

If anyone uses this for a speedrun or expands on this or anything please just let me know so i can see it because I think it would be so cool! My DMs are open

How to Dash Jump

This is REALLY important and REALLY hard okay so listen up.

You just

Press W and Shift. and then after you press shift? you press Jump.

this will allow you to keep your momentum and basically double your speed and allow you to shoot over edges like nothing!

If used for a speedrun or expanded upon Please credit me or at least let me know so I can see what cool stuff you do :3

again. Dash and while dashing? jump. you will get the hang of it im sure

If you want to gain even MORE speed and more distance out of it? you can Press R to Kick after your momentum should slowly wear off. you will get the movement speed of the dash jump a second time, basically allowing you to use it twice in a row. I have yet to see how far this can actually get you but I managed to cross over the Lava river with three Dash Jump Kicks so far

I have a question about the "Press R to Kick" thing. Do you need a specific weapon equipped for that or something? I tried it with The Bastard and it just sheathed it. With other guns I don't think R does anything besides reload (admittedly I've only done stages 1 and 3 so idk if there's a gun where that DOES do something.)

Use this with the rook jump boost from the tarot cards active and you'll go flying! xD

I found this movement tech on my own as well, but have recently found an expansion for it! If you press R while holding the bone sword, you will sheath it. When you left click, you will pull it out quickly and dash forward. This is movement tech on it's own when included with a jump, but it feels like LIGHTSPEED when you sequence: Shift+jump -> Left click (unsheathe bone sword) while in air. Even better news is that it doesn't take mana so it is very repeatable. Only downside I see is you can't do it multiple times in a row bc of the sheathing animation.
However, you can Shift+jump -> bone sword right click while in air.

magic shoot the shotgun straight down, it can be used to boost jump as well, which can get you to other paths far sooner. It's gonna be a speed run tactic no doubt. In fact you need to shotgun jump boost in 2-1 to get a hidden Doll Eye
