Hello!

This is my first map in MC:V! Disclaimer: I know I have a lot to add in and fix on this map, I just wanted to get it submitted before the initial deadline. This deadline is for the first round or rough drafts for the Mapping contest that is currently going on. Unfortunately I did not have as much time to dedicate to it as I had planned. That being said, I will be completing this map, whether it goes forward in the mapping contest or not!

This map is based off of Landing Zone Kate (also known as Firebase Kate), which was featured in the movie "Escape from Firebase Kate" which came out in 2015. There isn't a lot of pictures of LZ Kate when it was an active Firebase, and unfortunately it was destroyed afterwards. The name "Kate is Great" however comes from a name of a song by one of my favorite bands. The names just aligned perfectly together.

Going forward, I'm planning on:
-fixing the lighting
-adding much more to the round top of the map
-adding foliage and terrain the the outsides of the map to give the "Hilltop" look

Good start! As you said what it needs most is more stuff at the top of the map. I recommend some vehicles or emplaced weapons.
These 2 are only used on one other map I believe.
