@eversor I considered it early in development but decided against it because it would make interiors significantly harder to work with for a feature that would ultimately be used relatively rarely.

I love just how this beast is made, as well as the naming from Star Trek - the escort being Aquarius while the main ship is an Odyssey-class is a direct reference to Apollo 13 I believe, where the CSM (mated Command Module/Service Module pair crippled by an explosion in one of the Service Module's oxygen tanks) was called Odyssey and the LEM/LM (Lunar Excursion Module/Lunar Module, the 'lifeboat' ever since the explosion that crippled Odyssey) was called Aquarius.
