You need to have Oguri Cap, Maruzenski, El Condor Pasa, Rudolf.

If you want to run Maruzenski or SS Maruzenski as main, you will need to inherit from Seiun Sky and Pasa! You could take Bourbon's ulti too but you'll have to get more power then.

I'm running Oguri Cap with Maruzenski.
You could also run with Rudolf and Gold Ship inherits on late surger but beware of blocks.

Running Rudolf herself as a main is harder cause you'll need a lot more stamina for Kikka Sho and Tenno Sho but is still a very good choice.

If you run El Condor Pasa, consider getting around 50 more stamina than the recommended because of her ulti.



SS/ Maruzenski probably has the fastest career out of them all in terms of total time spent on a run, with Oguri being the slowest cause of all the story segments on each turn. Also has the most potential for a 1mil+ run cause she doesn't lose out on Japan Cup, having very good natural aptitudes on all distances, and being able to run dirt and sprint races with a few sparks.



Aim for 12* Stamina 6* Power.
As a bonus you could try to get Sprint sparks to run Sprint Stakes, or Dirt and Long sparks to help with Dirt tracks and Arima Kinen.
Having less just means you're going to have to step a little bit more on stamina, speed training should cover your power needs. You will also fail Tenno Sho Spring if you have less than 400 and no recovery skills, the other G2 Long races are all 2500m.



WE ARE STACKING FAN BONUS AND I HOPE YOU HAVE AT LEAST BIKO OR BAKUSHIN IF YOU DO NOT HAVE 3LB KITASAN, OTHERWISE BORROW BIKO.
You are going to need at least 3LB Kitasan if you don't wanna suffer. If you don't have her, use at least one of the other two and borrow Kitasan.

The cards shown are the best ones, pick whichever you have the most MLB of. They give 5% more at MLB, so the 20% ones all give 15% at 0 MLB. 10% for the 15% ones.


The following ones are good too but I don't expect anyone but whales to have them at MLB.


My setup

Your first objective is to get both Kitasan and Biko to MAX FRIENDSHIP.
If either has a HINT take it as it gives 5% FRIENDSHIP GAUGE.
Otherwise continue leveling SPEED training.
Do not go over board stepping on the others as we have sparks to cover STAMINA and POWER. Depending on RNG, 10 times outside of speed should be enough to get you a bit of power and stamina. Ending the first year with a lvl 3 speed facility is pretty common. You choose BIKO and KITASAN for this reason, they will give you lots of speed in a very short amount of time, a lot of times hitting 500+ before the first summer!

1. Continue your training, BUY THE ULTI FROM THE INHERIT and in DECEMBER JUNIOR YEAR run in both ASAHI HAI and HOPEFUL STAKES!

With the new QOL update you can set a race plan and never miss these!!




2. Continue training till APRIL 1 for SATSUKI SHO, EASY TO REMEMBER CAUSE IT'S RIGHT AFTER INSPIRATION EVENT!



REST on the next turn, take on both NHK MILE CUP and JAPANESE DERBY!



REST AGAIN or go on recreation as you are getting ready for the summer, and run in TAKARAZUKA KINEN! Personally I like to skip over Yasuda Kinen and enter summer with more energy and great mood.


3. SUMMER!! Get the best options, consider running on the G2 race at the last turn.

YOU ARE AIMING FOR THESE STATS BEFORE LATE OCTOBER CLASSIC YEAR ( Tenno Sho) or earlier, you could start running with these stats as a minimum but I would train till Tenno Sho since Arima Kinen can be a RNG fest, feel free to buy skills as you go. You will be ending up with 15+ skills in these runs.

SPEED 550
STAMINA 350 , 400 if you do not have a lot of sparks or Gourmad
POWER 500 , it can be lower on front runners

Once you hit these numbers, forget that any buttons but the RACE button exist. You do not care about managing energy or mood anymore, you will race whichever track gives you the most fans on every turn and you will cry about it.
The game will throw negative stat events for racing many times in a row but it doesn't matter since you will gain more from doing races than what you are losing.

These are the stats I usually end up with just before Arima Kinen.

Oguri is very tired now, send her on recreation 3 times before the URA races and buy her a burger ( or the whole grill house..) and she will reward you with a lot of fans for being the WORST TRAINER IN TRACEN ACADEMY!
