Adjustable Thruster Multipliers - Toolbar Edition

描述
Adjustable Thruster Multipliers - Toolbar Edition

Adjust your thruster power from 0x to 4x with in-game controls! Now with toolbar actions for automation and improved mod compatibility.

Features
  • Terminal Slider - Manually adjust thrust multiplier (0x to 4x)
  • Toolbar Actions - Control thrusters with buttons for automation
  • Timer Block Compatible - Create automated thrust sequences
  • Event Controller Support - Respond to game events
  • Multiplayer Ready - Full sync between all clients
  • Enhanced Compatibility - Better error handling for mod conflicts
  • Balanced Multiplier - Reasonable 4x max for gameplay balance

Toolbar Actions
This mod adds 5 actions to every thruster that can be used in toolbars, timer blocks, and event controllers:
  • Increase Thrust Multiplier - Adds 0.5x per click
  • Decrease Thrust Multiplier - Removes 0.5x per click
  • Reset Thrust Multiplier - Returns to 1x (default)
  • Set to 50% Multiplier - Jumps to 2x (50% of max)
  • Set to 100% Multiplier - Jumps to 4x (100% of max)

Why 4x Maximum?
The multiplier is capped at 4x for better gameplay balance:
  • Balanced Performance - Significant boost without breaking game balance
  • Power Management - Manageable power consumption increase
  • Practical Use - Still gives 400% thrust for emergency maneuvers
  • PvP Friendly - Won't create overpowered ships in multiplayer

Example Use Cases
  • Combat Ships - Quick boost button for evasive maneuvers
  • Precision Landing - Reduce thrust for delicate touchdowns
  • Automated Miners - Timer-based thrust sequences
  • Racing - Pre-programmed acceleration profiles
  • Smart Grids - Event controller responds to damage/cargo levels

Technical Notes
  • Power consumption scales with thrust multiplier (4x thrust = 4x power)
  • Changes are saved per-thruster and persist through world reloads
  • Works with all vanilla and modded thrusters
  • Fully compatible with multiplayer and dedicated servers
  • Enhanced error handling prevents conflicts with other mods
  • Extensive logging for troubleshooting (check SpaceEngineers.log)

I use the "other mod" ritually! I have been waiting for someone to make a toolbar version. Thank you so much!!! I'm loading in now to add it!

This does what I was using two separate mods for, but also better! Heck yeah! Thanks!

@Unruly I now added the scale to be able to go on negative so 0x. On default it will still be 1x, but you can go to 0 thrust is you want

Hey, thanks for this mod!

Could you also go the other way, from 100% down to 0? For when a ship already has enough thrusters but is overpowered when empty?

There's one like that already on the workshop from 2023 (also based on meridiusix's code, but it doesn't include toolbar actions.
