Welcome to Villainy!

Ever wanted to own the world, conquering each corner of it? Have you ever wanted to put the people you love in their place? Ever wanted to be the bad guy?

'Antagony! A Game Of Super Villainy' is the game for you! Take control of a villain in this fantasy world and crush your opposition with no mercy! Hire minions to do your bidding, capture damsels and treasures, make deals you won't keep, there's only one winner after all! You deserve it.

I plan on adding more to this eventually, it's been one of my many passion projects for a while and I figure now's as good a time as any to show it off. The art's unfinished, some stuff doesn't even have art, but it's all playable, and from what I've played it's fun. I love giving my friends an excuse to be absolutely despicable, they don't get that enough.

Eventually, I'd like to make templates for people to make their own stuff for Antagony, and also finish the art for the existing cards. If I know me though, it'll take a long while before I try to tackle finishing any of the sketches.

Yep! But if you defend with a minion, if the villain beats your minion, they dont steal from you cuz they didnt defeat you. You're using your minion as a meat shield to take a fall so you can keep the cards in your hand, and villains will always have an advantage against anything that isnt a villain.

Doesn't that defeat the point of both players choosing a card simultaneously though?

You can use a minion to defend, as long as they haven't been used already! When you choose to use a Minion for their Power Value, the villain attacking you *then* uses a card for its Power Value against the Minion.

At my table, if someone already put their card down before the other person decides theyre using a minion, we let the person attacking reconsider their played card (since there are attacks that defeat minions/guards automatically n people should be allowed to get the opportunity to use those). But, that's not written in the rules I don't think, so people are free to do whatever they want!

I want you to know the doodly art is the biggest appeal.

I do have a question though - if attacked by another villain, can you choose a minion to defend yourself with, and if so, how? Since you're supposed to only reveal cards at the same time.
