I found the issue. Although each artifact had a low individual drop rate, the probabilities for all attributes were stacking in the map_stash, making it about three to four times more likely to obtain an artifact there compared to regular crystals. I’ve fixed this, so artifacts will now only appear occasionally in stashes. In addition, I increased the drop rate for higher-tier artifacts from crystals. Now, you’ll have a better chance of finding valuable artifacts from crystals than from stashes.
I honestly can’t figure out how the drop system in this game works. Normally, I’d expect the special items to drop less frequently, but sometimes two or three appear at once — and it happens quite often. I’m putting a lot of effort into fixing this issue.
That’s quite interesting. I was actually working on a mod featuring some of the weapons from STALKER 2. You can now find those impressive firearms available in Zakov.

No, but it was designed to work well with Whispers from Beyond, which requires a lot of crystal farming. Since Whispers from Beyond adds armor variety and this mod adds a wide range of backpacks while providing extra farming opportunities from crystals, the two should complement each other nicely.
The lead-container backpack is sold by the bunker doctor. It requires 400 scientist relationship and costs 60,000 rubles. Unfortunately, since ZERO Sievert doesn’t allow adding modifications to existing armor and backpack, this was the best possible implementation. For lower-grade artifacts, the backpack caused excessive inventory expansion, so it’s now kept for sale purposes only.
