BR Class 93 and 99

The British Rail Class 93 and Class 99 are locomotives built by Stadler as part of the Euro Dual platform, for freight and general use on the UK rail network, with the first locos being built in 2022 and delivered in 2023. They have been ordered by Rail Operations Group (93), and GBRf (99), with more potential orders including Freightliner and Caledonian Sleeper.

The Class 93 is a tri-mode Bo'Bo' locomotive, having capability to run with diesel, on 25kV 50Hz AC OHLE, and with a battery. They have a top speed of 110mph/180kmh, a power output of 4600kW on AC supply, and a tractive effort of 290kN. 10 of these have been ordered so far.

The Class 99 is a bi-mode Co'Co' locomotive, having capability to run with diesel, and on 25kV 50Hz AC OHLE. They have a lower top speed than the 93, being capped at 75mph/120kmh. This is traded for a higher power output of 6170kW on AC, and a tractive effort of up to 500kN.

Despite the low amount of current orders for these trains, I have made multiple fictional liveries based on current proposals, and some companies that currently have (or have had) locomotives in their fleet.
