West-bound OB 293, 6-7 March 1941

OB 293 west-bound convoy of 37 ships, either in ballast or carrying trade goods, and sailed from Liverpool on 2 March 1941 bound for ports in North America. Notable for the loss of Gunther Prien in U-47. Skirmish took place 6-7 March 1941.

Merchant tonnage is as close as I could get it for the mission. There are merchant types and tonnage that are not in WP. The number of merchant ships and escorts I think are accurate, although historical participation on the part of the escorts may be uncertain. Location for this mission is impossible in WP. There are no real Atlantic theaters for skirmishes.
