[VScript] Release Day Bots

描述
This Mod Is VScript, It will only work if played in single player or hosting via local servrer.

I am not sure why nobody did it until I did but here it is.


-A bot will pick up a melee weapon if nobody else has one

-Bots won't shoot through you to kill targets (can hurt their ability to shoot infected surrounding you)

-Bots give up safe locations in panic events/finales twice as fast

-Bots will sidestep to avoid/shoot infected (can result in friendly fire incidents)

-Bots are less likely to waste first aid kits if they have temporary health

-Bots have instant reaction time to pinned teammates

-Bots move closer to humans when in danger

-Bots target infected from farther away, but have trouble prioritizing close enemies

-Bots try to stay farther away from Tanks and Witches

-Bots try harder to follow you

-Bots hear infected from farther away

-Bots aim twice as fast during combat (can cause them to overshoot targets)

RF I got this from the old mod that changes it to the release day bots that also added the l4d1 reserve ammo, that mod used gamemode.txt but edited so it wasnt very good, I just removed the gamemodes.txt method and used vscript and removed the cvars to change reserve ammo

These cvars don't even match the (pre) release version lol, just pure disinformation. The only accurate change is the melee and that's it.

Next mod it's gonna be ChatGPT in the head of the bots, so they spend the whole game talking about how to make a cake recipe.

You can fix their close quarters target priority by putting sb_close_threat_range to 0
