Beasts of Yore adds legendary creatures and ancient beasts to the world. This module introduces the Manticore: a lair-dwelling semimegabeast with the body of a lion, the unsettling face of a human, and a barbed scorpion tail that injects crippling venom.

Highlights:
- Venomous tail sting causing pain, numbness, paralysis, and unconsciousness.
- Rending claw scratches and brutal bites; thunderous roars.
- Custom graphics for Adventure and Fortress mode.

How to find them:
- Large-roaming predators in tropical and temperate savannas, grasslands, and shrublands.
