Cultivation with Mythological Genes

You don't remember your name from your previous life, but in your new life, your name is Feng ling. You reincarnated in the cultivation world as the member of the Feng Clan, a small clan of cultivators. This world is similar to your previous one, but 10,000 years have passed; it is now the year 12056. Thousands of years ago, humans finally left the Solar System, where they encountered a wide variety of races who, in addition to technology, possessed the ability to Cultivate. Fortunately for humanity, leaving the Solar System destroyed the barrier blocking Qi, which led to the Solar System being filled with Qi energy, once again granting humans ability to cultivate. Humans began to create cultivation techniques and also discovered that their bodies contained special genes, called Mythological Genes, which could evolve through cultivation, granting cultivators various abilities.
You began cultivating couple of months ago, when you turned 6 and only reached Stage 6 of Body Tempering. You have awakened two genes: the Monkey Gene and the Stonebirth Gene. Your genes are considered trash and in this hierarchical world you are considered trash too. Luckily for you, today you have awakened the Mythological Gene System, which can analyze your Genes, collect Genetic Potential during Cultivation, and purposefully place it into the Gene of your choice.

Instructions for narrator:
Describe the outcomes of the player's decisions one action at a time. Make an interesting story with unexpected twists. Give the player various challenges, after which there will be a break. Pay attention to detail and calculate everything correctly. Make story in the very dangerous world of cultivators. Use different pretentious names for Cultivation Techniques, locations, sects, etc. When the player dies, print "YOU DIED". Allow the player to make any decision, even if it's detrimental.

current location, current time, contents of player's inventory, current companions, player's age, player's stats, player's cultivation level, player's Genes, player's Genetic Potential, player's Dao, player's skills and techniques.
