Regional Enemies - New Shadow patch

描述
Regional Enemies - New Shadow patch
This patch allows Here be Monsters - New Shadow to work in harmony with my Regional Enemies series of mods. Just like other patches I've released for other monster packs, this patch ensures that common enemies reference my regional variants instead of vanilla common enemies everywhere. This patch accomplishes that, but it does something else as well.

The New Shadow is a bit of an edge case. Other monster packs introduce unique enemies to each dungeon. For example, KCC ads the new Shriekling only to the Weald. On the other hand, when The New Shadows adds some new monsters, it ads them in multiple dungeons. As an example, the new cultist deacon, instead of just being placed in the Ruins, it's also placed in the Weald. Likewise, the Bush Ranger brigand spawns in every dungeon instead of just the Weald. This means that many of these new enemies are treated as common enemies not unique to one region.

This is obviously the opposite goal of my Regional Enemies, which is to reduce asset flipping from generic enemies by creating new variants that are unique to each region. In patching this mod, I am left with 2 choices:

1-Create new variants of the new enemies that The New Shadows ads, so that they are unique to each dungeon
2-Just constrain the new enemies to the one dungeon that makes sense for each, and remove them from everywhere else so that they aren't "common" enemies and recycled everywhere.

Option 1 would be the coolest, because that means even more new creatures for players to face. However, not only would that mean extra work for me to edit their assets, but given how petty that team has proven to be by DMCA my Somber HBM patch, I'll opt for option 2.

In short, with this patch:
  • My regional monsters will spawn in the appropriate dungeon when New Shadow references their generic vanilla versions.
  • Cultist Deacon ONLY spawns in Ruins (no longer common)
  • Savage Cultist ONLY spawns in Ruins (no longer common)
  • Giant Brigand ONLY spawns in Weald (no longer common)
  • Bushranger brigand ONLY spawns in Weald (no longer common)
  • HLM Drowned Anchorman swapped for my Drowned Crewman from Regional Skeletons
  • HBM Frog removed from Warrens (this monster makes no sense in Warrens, it should live in Weald where there are trees and swamps)

For the enemies that are no longer common, their spawn chance in their native dungeon has been increased significantly so that you can have plenty of opportunities to fight them.
