This mod replaces every single Vox line in the game with re-recorded lines from its HL1 counterpart, every word was remade (painfully), all 281 words, and all 82 pre-disaster and post disaster pre-HECU takeover, Blast Pit Vox lines included.

Every line was recorded from flextalk, imported into a 1997 build of Goldwave, the same program Valve used for HL1s audio, and then for the sentence lines further editing was done in FL Studio.

Its a bit rough around the edges, the audio mixing sucks, and some of the words clip into eachother post-HECU takeover, but that cannot be fixed without modifying maps or scripts to some extent and id rather keep it compatible with mostly everything.

Amazing work, will this be compatible with the Nostalgia Sound Replacement pack? That also affects VOX voicelines

And thanks for doing this all manually like a chad and not using AI!

Just enter properties into the search field and then it should show up, it wasnt designed for modern windows and probably dont even work on 11, havent tested because im never gonna use 11

I genuinely love this but idk there's something to the voice that feels slightly threatening, perfect for post HECU Takeover, idk about pre takeover, idk what is it, is it the pitch or the cadence of the voice?
