Halo 2 Forge

This mod adds much of the Forge functionality seen in Halo 3 and future titles into Halo 2 and then expands upon it extensively with AI additions and functionality. Playable only in Solo Campaign.


New Map: Mombasa Coast
Mombasa Coast is a large city center set in New Mombasa with several streets and buildings, a large open grass space, as well as access to a beach area with small buildings. There are some interior & rooftop spaces deeper into the city.

• Pressing [FLASHLIGHT] will enter & exit Forge mode.
  
• Pressing [MELEE] will open the Forge menu.
  
• Pressing [JUMP] will pick up and put down objects.
  
• Pressing [SWITCH WEAPON] will delete objects.
  
• Pressing [PRIMARY FIRE] with an object held will enter/exit rotation mode.
  
• Pressing [THROW GRENADE] will rotate an object when in rotation mode.

• All Vanilla Weapons
  
• All Vanilla Vehicles + Shadow, Pelican, Phantom, Longsword, & Scarab
  
• Most Vanilla Equipment
  
• Many City-themed Scenery objects + Custom Wall & Floor objects
  
• Almost Every AI Character from Halo 2 Campaign
  
• All AI Characters in Every Vehicle
  
• Ability to become friends or enemies with any faction
  
• Ability to pause & resume AI actions
  
• Ability to Save & Load Checkpoints at any time
  
• Ability to clear entire map of all objects

The menu is invisible. How do I fix it?
This mod only works in English. Right click MCC in your Steam Library, go the Properties panel and switch your language to English.

Why don't my controls work?
MCC has many different control schemes that can change the Forge controls. Try pressing different buttons or consider switching to the default button layout in your Settings menu.

The sky is turning black and I suddenly disappeared & died! Why?
You spawned in too many things. The game engine deleted you to save space.

Where are my saved checkpoint files located on my PC?
Steam\userdata\<user_id>\976730\remote\2533274971542381\Saves\SaveGame\halo1\campaign

Could you add X to the mod?
The mod is currently at maximum capacity. Adding anything new means removing something else.

I encountered a bug. Will you fix it?
Yes! Please report it in as much detail as you can.



I'm very grateful to you for trying out this mod and hopefully having some fun. If there is a positive reception to this I may do more Forge maps with different perspectives, possibly one where you play as the Arbiter.
