Be in two places at once with the Wackolyte!

Wackolyte is a strange entity, it is unknown what he is truly made of. Part reasearcher of forbidden knowledge, part forbidden knowledge himself. Wielding arcane arts that disintegrate matter around him. What exactly is this strange fellow? Well, sometimes he lets his true self slip. Secrets do not stay hidden forever.

Sometimes you gotta talk to the realest one you know.
Yourself?


Neutral Special - Mitosis
Split into two with a damaging hitbox. This is Wackolyte's main way of creating a clone.
Hitting an opponent drastically reduces the endlag of this attack.

After creating the clone, you control it as if it were yourself. Your main body stays put, slowly floating down if you were in the air.

As soon as you input an attack with the clone, the real you will be free to move as you like. Use this opportunity to combo together with your clone!

Watch out though, as the clone is not invincible. You will share any inflicted misery.


Forward Special - True Form: Assault
Wackolyte rushes to escape the cage that constrains him. Launching forward towards enemies.

If you hit, Wackolyte will punch the opponent while teleporting around several times. While you can't follow up on this yourself, perhaps a certain someone could do this attack for you while you were free to move?


Up Special - Spin Cycle
Wackolyte spins around extremely fast, eventually launching out a clone.

This is the second method to create a clone. Using Up Special while a clone is out will make the clone spin extremely fast, eventually teleporting the main body to themself!
This is your main method of recovery, which might be a bit tricky to learn.
The clone can move as you do, with any wall jumps and airdodges, so position them well before reusing Up Special.

It is recommended to save your main body's air dodge, so you can use it to stall after clone Up Special.


Down Special - Localized Chronomancy
Wackolyte ticks down over a second, eventually stopping time for all enemies within range.

This attack makes you very vurnerable when used. The startup is long, and so is the endlag.
But this makes it amazing on the clone, as you are free to pummel the opponent while they tick down.
Utilize this with the long lasting normal attacks Wackolyte has to time it perfectly.



Jab
A single pathetic headbutt. Wackolyte is not much of a brawler.
Can be tilt-cancelled.

Dash Attack
Fling yourself forward recklessly! Dash Attack goes off ledges, and has a unique animation on miss or hit.
Perhaps Wackolyte should stick to actually using his magics.


Forward Tilt
Eldritch Chop & Swipe,
Has a followup attack that grabs, performed by pressing attack during endlag.


Up Tilt
Immolation, Wackolyte burns above him.
This multihit attack strangely has no finishing hit. It keeps the opponent locked down for a while.


Down Tilt
Hands Of Fate.
Wackolyte summons hands on both sides. Useful for catching opponents trying to be evasive.


Forward Strong
Laser Beam.
Wackolyte shoots a strong laser in front of him. Takes a while to come out after letting go of charge.


Up Strong
Grasping Grip.
Wackolyte shoots a hand out above him, grabbing any enemy present. After this, they are consumed into the void.
After a moment of torment, they are released. Useful to combo with the clone.


Down Strong
True Form: Slaps
Wackolyte drops his disguise and spins around. Useful to hit both sides.
Charging increases the amount of spins.
