Auburn Glades

描述
A Mod that adds a new Biome into tha Game, approprietly themed for spooky Month.


The Auburn Glade is a new Biome that generates beyond the Dungeon.
(This does mean that smaller Worlds are likely to have small Auburn Glades...)
While unasuming at first, only filled with a bit of new Vegetation,
the Glade becomes a whole lot more lively one a Pale Pendant is obtained.

With the Pale Pendant equipped, the Player starts gathering Pale Essence
from defeated Enemies.
The more Pale Essence the Player has, the more Enemies spawn within the Biome,
aswell as slowly making them more and more dangerous.
As a Reward for those who push onward against increasingly buffed Enemies,
one might obtain Auburn Essence. A new Crafting Material used for
some new Gear to play around with.
To obtain more condensed Versions of Auburn Essence though, one might
have to find a Way to increase the Power of their Pale Pendant...

I've tested around a little and it seems fine.
At worst it would have just been some Weapon Projectile inconsistencies anyway.
The Disclaimer was just in case since I rushed some things a little while Programming.

Any updates on how stable this is in multiplayer? I just love the fact this adds an interesting biome, the rest is just a wonderful bonus.

A way to do a boss could be to have a placeable object, like what they use for the Eternia Crystal, that consumes an amount of Essence from the pendant to activate.

To apply the Upgrades to the Pale Pendant youll need to hold them ( Pick them up while in the Inventory) and right click on the Pendant with them.
I should propably add a better Tooltip for them to make that clear... or figure out a better Way to do this. I didnt make them permanent Upgrades so the Player can "downgrade" if they want to.

For the Essence Bloom, that is supposed to be a Sentry. It taking a Summon Slot indeed needs to be fixed.

As for Biome Spread, currently... no. I will see to making Auburn Solution whenever I get around to Updating this.

A Boss would be interesting, but I would have to figure out how to make it not intrusive. If it always spawned after a certain Threshold and withholds further Essence, it would have to be fought each Time you start anew and might feel like a MAJOR Nuisance once later Stages are unlocked.
If anything, making actually custom Enemies instead of just reusing Vanilla ones might be a higher Priority. And obviously that would include stronger Enemies for later Essence Stages.
I will come back to this in the Future, might be a little while though as I have some other Things I need to work on.

This is pretty cool! Some feedback: I got the sealing tome, but I cant use it on the pendant (or cant figure out how to). The summons acts like a sentry (as it doesnt seem to move), but eats a summon slot. Also, the bar you fill while in the zone doesnt feel like it does anything. It definitely seems to be spawning more, but there is no feedback to the player and filling it doesnt seem to matter. Are you planning to add a boss when it fills at some point? But this is still a fun little mod! very appropriate for this month!

It partially overwrites Thorium's graveyard and gets a little wonky, but is mostly fine.
This is pretty cool for a first attempt at worldgen. A little rough around the edges, but still really neat!

Good to hear.
Since my World Gen mostly just replaces Vanilla Tiles, it shouldnt mess mess with most modded Biomes or Structures.
At worst it should propably just get overwritten by another Mods Biome, which im fine with. Id rather another Mod do something, than possibly break something in another.

As for other Mods that I can think of. Im pretty sure Thoriums Graveyard generates somewhere around the Dungeon, which should stay intact.
And Remnants exists... but im pretty sure even other big Content Mods dont work with that one too well.
