Quick warning: This character will probably be unbalanced, but I'll try to get him tame with updates soon to come. Please give feedback if you can!

Torch arrives in Rivals of Aether!

Torch is a lightweight, fast rushdown with a heavy focus on not letting your opponent breathe. He sports many moves to allow him to quickly approach and destroy the competition.

Overdrive
The bar over your HUD is your Overdrive bar. You can charge it by hitting opponents or with dspecial. Once the bar is full, you'll enter overdrive! During overdrive, you'll get a buff to your movement, damage, and attack speed! Your meter is always draining, and it drains even faster in overdrive. So make use of it and try to enter overdrive as much as you can.

Aerial Attacks
All your aerials can be double jump cancelled on hit.
Allowing for faster combos and extra hits most characters can't get in.
(Dair also gives back your double jump.)

Specials
NSpecial: Chaos Rising Uppercut
A rising uppercut that takes 3 seconds to charge to max.
At a full charge this is your strongest move. With a 1.15 kb scaling. So be sure to charge it when you can.
You can also press parry to save your current charge. (Be sure to do that because your charge won't save if you're hit while charging.)

FSpecial: Sonic Rush
A quick dash forward move.
On hit you will hit your opponent four times before launching them up allowing for a follow up.
This is (one of) your best entrance move to a combo. Try not to spam it as its quite predictable.
Holding special throughout the attack will give you extra distance. Useful for recovery far off stage.
(Just don't throw yourself off the stage with it.)

USpecial: Dragon Dash
A fast dash up move that can go in all directions!
On hit you won't be put into pratfall and you'll gain back your airdodge and walljump. (From playtesting this isn't as broken as you'd think. But it opens up a lot more combo options.)
Be careful though, as on hit the move will have a half second cooldown. (Which might get you killed in some cases.)

DSpecial (Ground): Overdrive Charge
This move charges your meter. Holding parry will give you a faster variant at the cost of dealing damage to yourself.
It also has a hitbox that stuns opponents. (It's not as large as you'd think so don't rely on it.)

DSpecial (Air): Flying Dropkick
A downward angled kick that grows in power the longer it's out.
This is another great entrance move especially when you're far above the opponent.
On hit you'll bounce off your opponent and gain back your double jump, airdodge, and walljump. (Again, not as broken as you'd think. Just good for recovery if you can land it off ledge.)
Also a great edgeguarding tool.

He also comes with Munophone, so you can check all of the specials descriptions in the game!

Oh, and he also comes with a Super Alt with custom sprites! This gives you the overdrive movement buff and attack speed buff always. (Some alts don't have access to this due to having a special visual change during overdrive.)
