Tome of Absolute Zero

This mod adds the Tome of Absolute Zero, a tier V tome specializing in inflicting Frozen and Status Vulnerability on enemies. If you're taking a bunch of Shadow tomes but aren't going for an undead build, this should give you an alternative tier V pick.

Skills include the following:

• Icebreaker Weapons: An enchantment for melee units that gives them a 30% chance to inflict Frozen. If this fails, they inflict slowed and 1 Status Vulnerability instead. They also do +40% damage against Frozen targets, and +20% damage against Slowed targets.
  
• Frozen Fissure: A single-target combat spell that inflicts Frozen for 2 turns, Distracted for 2 turns, 5 Marked for 3 turns, and dispels all positive status effects. The ability to point at any target and remove them as a threat for 2 turns is obviously quite powerful. This spell bypasses resistance checks, although it won't work on enemies that are immune to Frozen completely.
  
• Cryoclast: A map-wide combat spell similar to Tectonic Shatter that causes all enemies to sustain 30 frost damage and have a 60% chance to be Frozen. If Frozen is resisted, they are inflicted with Slowed and 2 Status Vulnerability instead.
  
• Blizzard Legion: A siege project that summons 3 tier III Snow Spirits and a single tier IV Ice Spider Matriarch under the attacker's control.
  
• Everfrost Invocation: A strategic spell that causes all enemies in the target province to receive 40 frost damage and a debuff giving them -5 Status Resistance for 3 world map turns. Note: Status Resistance is different from Status Vulnerability (which adds 2 Status Resistance per stack, but can only stack up to 5 times), but they can both stack with each other for an extremely high chance to inflict debuffs.

This mod only adds files. It doesn't change any vanilla files, so it should be compatible with everything.

Due to an oversight by the developers, vanilla Tier V tomes are not blocked from being selected by Tier V tomes of the same affinity. In other words, if you pick a modded Tier V Shadow tome, you would then be able to pick the Tome of the Eternal Lord. If this bothers you, you can download the Modded Tier V Tome Block Fix I made, which I separated out for to maximize compatibility.

I bounce around from game to game quite often, so this mod may fall out of date when updates occur. If that happens, anyone is free to fork this mod to update it without asking for permission. Acknowledging me as the original mod creator is appreciated, but not required.
