Tired of RNG determining your quest difficulty? Want exactly 15 raiders in that bandit camp instead of whatever
the game decides? This mod puts YOU in the driver's seat!





📋 What This Mod Does

USEQuestCustomizer allows you to precisely control quest parameters before generation, giving you complete control
over:

  • Enemy Count - Set exactly how many enemies you want to face
  • Threat Points - Fine-tune the difficulty to your liking
  • Reward Value - Determine how much loot you'll get for your efforts
  • Quest Giver & Target Factions - Choose who gives the quest and who you're fighting
  • Advanced Parameters - Expiry days, selection weight, minimum threat points, and more

🎮 How to Use

  1. Access the Interface - Look for the Quest Customizer button in your UI. It's on the Bottom right corner, appeared as information button.
  2. Configure Your Quest:
    • Select your desired quest type (currently supports ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥)
    • Set enemy count (1-200 enemies)
    • Adjust threat points (0-20,000 points)
    • Configure reward value (0-20,000 points)
    • Choose giver and target factions (optional)
  3. Generate Quest - Click generate and watch your custom quest appear
  4. Verify Results - Check the quest description and world map site info to confirm your settings

⚙️ Advanced Settings

Quest Parameters:
  • Difficulty Multiplier - Scale overall challenge (0.1x to 5.0x)
  • Challenge Rating - Visual difficulty indicator (1-5 stars)

Mod Settings:
  • Enable Toggle Button - Show/hide the customizer interface

This mod is my first mod with vibe codcing. claude code is used for coding and write description, directive and misc fix in generated code is made by me. preview image is ai generated. if there is bug, when i have a time, i will try to fix it. please write description for bug with log and comment in comment section. sorry for bad english.

Known Bugs or Possible Issue
Some Quests Generated not correctly. if i can fix that, i will. if fixing that will break mod's function or require so many destructive patch, i will not.

What a cool idea. Might be kind of fun to have friends offer me quests upon seeing my rimworld streamed or something. I could see some new game including it with twitch integration lol.

Would it be possible to create some kind of furniture — like a bulletin board or communication station — to activate this function?
