Marlin 1895 SBL (Scout)

The Marlin Model 1895 SBL is a lever-action hunting rifle chambered in .45-70 manufactured by Marlin Firearms Co. Based on the Marlin Model 1895 introduced in 1972, the Model 1895SBL is a modernized version of the Model 1895 and was introduced in 2009. It features a stainless steel finish on all major metal components, a gray/black laminated hardwood stock with fluted comb, cut checkering, recoil pad, and nickel-plated sling swivel stud, an underbarrel 6–round tubular magazine, a big loop finger lever, side ejection, a stainless steel receiver, 18½-inch barrel, lever, trigger guard plate, magazine tube, and loading gate, a hammer block safety, an XS Sight Systems ghost ring sight with a front post sight, a scope mount, and an overall length of 37 inches and weight of 8 pounds.
