WARNING: THIS IS MY FIRST MOD EVER MADE, EXPECT BUGS AND HISTORICAL INACURACCIES, THIS MOD MAY REQUIRE ACE DUE TO A BUG

Please read this.
-This mod is basically just a training for my faction making skills. I may not uptade this often, except for bugs. So dont expect to me make new factions quickly. Im working on a yugoslav wars/ Fapovo civil war project.

What is WjW's simple mods?
WjW's simple mods is a collection of mods based on CUP that is meant to recreate different real, and fictional conflicts. It always bothered me how many cool ass historical mods are for RHS, yet a so small amount for CUP.

Hendrix Russian gear
Hendrix Insurgents gear
MAY requires ACE

Welcome to purgatory. This is a mod that i created using the new Hendrix Ichkeria Insurgents and russian gear.
I have no bias towards any side of the conflict.


The First Chechen War, also referred to as the First Russo-Chechen War, was a conflict between the separatist Chechen Republic of Ichkeria and the Russian Federation from 1994 to 1996. After a mutually agreed on treaty and terms, the Russians withdrew until they invaded again three years later, in the Second Chechen War of 1999–2009.

FACTIONS:
-AFRF: They have better gear such as: Tanks, planes, and helicopters, but are more unequipped with no backpacks for rpgs, no food for their troops etc.
-Chechen Insurgents: The insurgents have worse gear, and very very small amount of armor, but are better equiped and coordinated

This mod was made using Drongos Config Generator. Hope you enjoy.

>Uptade 1.1: Fixed "No pilots in aircraft", Fixed Russian groups (if its still not working, its probably cuz steam is checking the files)

KNOWN BUGS:The "Local Farmer" Coat has no textures in first person(this is bug is from the Hendrix Ichkerian Insurgents, not from mine mod)

maybe some Russian OMON and other MVD, less helmet covers for Russian Ground Forces

Could you try to add PCCR? they wore civilian clothes, Afghanka and some VSR-93 and old camos, wore white armbands, and had access to the AKM, AK-74, RPK and RPD, for sniper M91/30, SKS and SVD. PCCR was the Russian backed Chechen Government in exile that fought for Russia in the war

Thanks for all the feedback. As for the randomized equipment, im trying to figure it out. Im having quite some work right now but if i will get some free time i will maybe uptade it.

I can say right away for historical information that Smersh did not exist yet in the first Chechen war, used more Poyas-a, bodyarmor 6b3,6b5, ana v95, vest BVD and and homemade vests, they were common among both federal troops and rebels.
