"you can adjust" - help! where i can do it? how?

if that's the case you need to adjust your brightness and/or contrast. the difference in the 2 imagaes are extremely noticeable in places where shadows fall. instead of being straight up black where shadows are you can see what's being shadowed quite clearly. a good example is the exit on the autolathe where instead of just the sliver at the top you can see the entire door and cautionary tape on it.

So, does this actually require beepnex? If so it would be nice if that was part of the tags so people could know that easily.

Maybe it's just me, but I cannot see any difference in the before and after images that you posted. Perhaps it's more noticeable in game.

@MoQ Do you mean that you want it pitch black when you're exploring outside, or also when you're in your base? The light levels can be adjusted for the day and night time, but the main side effect of this mod is that it will never be pitch black, even if you're away from lights. This is however something I am adding as a feature soon.

This mod kicks ass, I just wish it was still pitch-black at night on Venus so I can use it without feeling like I'm cheating

can you fix the weirdness where a sealed room with no lights has ambient light at day and is pitch black (as it should be) at night? it drives me insane.
