Can you please also make the rover motor/light power-consumption changable?
the standard batteries have enough charge virtually FOREVER. i wanna change it so i actually need to budget the batteries
[General]
## Maximum rover speed. Vanilla value is 7.0
# Setting type: Single
# Default value: 40
MaxSpeed = 240
Also you could make the max speed configurable in a bepinex cfg file. :)
@Lord Yes absolutely, adding extra gravity for rover only is something I'm looking into in the future. And no way I've figured out to add back/fix MK2 rover, but (fingers crossed) devs will get to it...
Playing with world settings a while ago, I found that the rovers work great if you turn up world gravity! I know this isn't the same as acceleration due to gravity, but I wonder if adding a lot of mass to the rover would help... if that can be done.
Also, I guess there's no way a mod can re-add the Mk II rover for us (or it would've been done already)...
i suspect this is beyond the scope of this mod, but would it be possible to convert the rover to 4 wheel drive? with the current rover you've got a short wheelbase, rear drive, and it weighs about as much as a baseball; it's the kind of vehicle you give to someone if you want them dead. i love it, but seeing the front wheels pressed to the ground (has traction, but unpowered) and the rear wheels spin freely (whirrr!) now triggers "grab crowbar" from muscle memory for me. nowhere else would you grab a crowbar to do nice things for motor vehicles.
I guess I can look into it anyways :)
