- Somehow, Jodi has ended up in Bikini Bottom, and it's under attack by zombies! Survive the waves of zombies and collect the 4 keycards to access additional free powerups, or cross The Flying Dutchman's pool to access your inventory. -


This is a modified version of the SpongeBob: Battle for Bikini Bottom hub/home area. The mesh has been modified in Blender to separate some assets into individual meshes to be used as props. Some materials like ground, concrete, grass, and other textures have been replaced with higher quality textures and materials from asset kits I have purchased from UE Fab. Some textures have been AI upscaled where possible, but this applies to only a few items.

I have built new small huts with keycard locks, decorated out of bounds zones, and other visual enhancements to make the map feel fuller. The geometry of this map is pretty janky, and many areas I've expanded into for adventure have gaps, single-sided textures/materials, and other visual imperfections that may not look very good.

All that aside, I hope you guys enjoy the map. It was a ton of fun to make and is a hilarious contrast to The Killing Antidote. I also learned a lot of really cool stuff while making this map, and got some exposure to Blender.

9/16/2025 - Initial Launch

9/17/2025 Update:
- Fixed typo in zombie batch spawner, causing zombies in the last wave to not spawn correctly
- Rebuilt some geometry in Blender to fix see-thru areas in Out-of-Bounds landscapes (Dutchman's pit and Jellyfish Fields)
- Removed some random geometry that did not support two-sided materials (like the shipwreck debris near the Dutchman's Pit)
- Added some basic wall meshes behind billboards that did not support two-sided materials so they can be seen from behind
- Removed some "Taxi" signs to cleanup the map a bit
- Lowered DirectionalLight intensity slightly
- Fixed alignment to the ground of certain objects and structures in Out-of-Bounds areas

9/18/2025 Update:
- Added a final Predator fight
- Decorated the Goo Lagoon area
- Changed textures in the Dutchman's area
- Changed textures of the different huts and added signs on the front!
- Touched up rebuilt geometry in Blender from last update, and filled in a few other see-thru objects with new geometry.
- Changed some zombie types throughout waves

Map is actually really big. Some zombies tend to get stuck behind trees or stop chasing if you ended up too far in certain areas (e.g. jellyfish field or beyond the road with the yellow card). Waves are huge, though the director respawning them right behind you as you go around is annoying, but its more of the game engine issue here. However, its still quite balanced regardless. I only wished that there was a cutout of Squidward staring from his house window though.

The goo lagoon fall is survivable, but the only way out is to glitch the game and run through some open textures. Fall should either always kill you or provide a way back up. Good level.

Been doing some research, and I think there are some things I can do to fix certain areas of the map where you see invisible sides of objects. Will mess around with it tonight.

As usual, consider this 1.0 release as an early test build as I make changes.
