IMDC Cargo Pod (Modular)

Compatible ships:
IMDC V-12C Osprey
IMDC V-13 Dragonfly
IMDC V-13H Dragonfly
IMDC D-13a Albatross

*Fits, but this pod is too short to attach on level ground. Basically, it can only pick it up from an elevated "loading dock" or similar. Just modify it to make it sit higher if you intend to use it primarily with a taller vehicle.

Capable of being airdropped.
Able to be safely attached in either direction on compatible ships. All official pod configurations are bidirectional for their compatible ships unless otherwise noted.

Intended to be modified based on mission requirements. As long as you only extend it in one direction, there's basically no length restriction. Need a survival kit? Attach one (don't forget extra batteries). Need extra hydrogen thrust to make it over the hump and get to space? Bolt on some hydrogen thrusters to the side conveyor ports on the pod. Whatever you need this pod to do, you should be able to make it do.

The original idea was that the Dragonfly can quickly deliver a work crew and supplies to a remote location. Or just drop them off with an empty cargo pod and let them get to mining, and come back and swap it out with an empty pod when it's full. Actual practical logistics. But coming up with a viable system that would (1) merge, (2) have conveyor access, and (3) still allow the ships to pick up things with tail maglocks took a LOT of engineering.
