The Rise Of Obninziki

In the thirteenth century the lands of the Dniester between the carpathian mountains and the black sea saw mass invasion. From this, numerous groups of people fled westward for protection. These groups would come together despite their ranging cultures and settle down in the lowcountries after wandering for so long. After the fall of the lowcountries in the War of the First Coalition (1792-1797), this major ethnic group, who had all but unified their cultural and ethnic heritage would come to power and dominate the politcal scene under Napoleon's French occupation of the lowcountries. The lowcountires would eventually form the Kingdom of Obninziki in 1815 during the aftermath of the Napoleonic Wars with a monarchy of their own. With the failure of the Belgian Revolution in the 1830s, the culturally melded Kononenko Dynasty would survive through the Concert of Europe, spreading its dynasty back towards the homeland in homes of one day returning. Now, in 1936, King Ihor I Kuzmych Kononenko of Obninziki ruling over a culturally, religiouslly, and politically diverse region, will it survive the oncoming fire?

#1 - The Resilient Monarch
Despite the growing flames across Europe and the monarch's own growing age, King Ihor I Kuzmych Kononenko manages to ease the internal tension of the populace and steer forth the Kingdom of Obninziki onto a path to survive the coming storm, hopefully for the next century to come.

#2 - The Prince Of The People
After the death of King Ihor, his heir steps up to wield the reins of power. Prince Yurij Ihorovych Knononenko takes the throne as a breath of fresh air and the aging monarchy is restored in a glorious new hurrah, hearalding a new modernized Kingdom of Obninziki.

King Ihor I abdicates the throne and relinquishes all power of the monarchy to the people of Obninziki. In this bid to avoid a possible civil war, the provisional government is formed. Elections are held to see what the future of the nation will become.

Artem Stepanovych Dubyna, a staunch republican who studied in England, is elected as the first Prime Minister of the new Republic of Obninziki.

- The First Worker's Party
King Ihor I abdicates the throne and relinquishes all power of the monarchy to the people of Obninziki. In this bid to avoid a possible civil war, the provisional government is formed. Elections are held to see what the future of the nation will become.

Led by President Zhanna Kuzmivna Novikova. After transitioning to a republic, the overworked and scorned populous votes to give a communist system a try. However between Stalin's purge, the Spanish Civil War, and the Chinese Civil War, the new People's Democratic Republic Of Obninziki is formed without the security of the motherland, though they may not be without friend for long.

- The Western Soviet
King Ihor I abdicates the throne and relinquishes all power of the monarchy to the people of Obninziki. In this bid to avoid a possible civil war, the provisional government is formed. Elections are held to see what the future of the nation will become.

Led by Presidient Leonid Arkadijovych Kolesnyk. After the transition to a communist republic goes off without a hitch, the weight of the Democratic West and the Fascist East sinks in, causing the Worker's Party to return to the motherland's watch after centuries, transforming their people's republic into the Soviet Socialist Republic Of Obninziki.

- Democratic Fascist Path (WIP)
King Ihor I abdicates the throne and relinquishes all power of the monarchy to the people of Obninziki. In this bid to avoid a possible civil war, the provisional government is formed. Elections are held to see what the future of the nation will become.

Led by President Anatolij Olehovych Omelchenko. Fascists win the election.

- The Heavy Hand That Stays (WIP)
Lead by Prince Yurij Ihorovych Knononenko. The King wins the civil war.

- The Republican Revolt
Led by President Kateryna Illivna Vlasenko. Seeing the writing on the wall, those valuing democracy and the ideals of a republic revolt against the tightening grip of the monarchy. After defeating all of the other tyrannical factions, The Federal Republic of Obninziki is born.

After the republicans defeat the other factions in the civil war,

Kateryna Illivna Vlasenko, a hardline federalist who studied in the United States of America, is elected by the republican provisional government as the first President of Obninziki.

- The Youth's Revolt
Led by Dictator Kateryna Illivna Vlasenko. With their futures on the line, the youth revolts and overthrows the centuries old monarchy in hopes that they can guide the nation to a better tomorrow, creating the People's Republic Of Obninziki.

- The Black Night Coup
Led by Dicator Viktor Illich Danylyuk. With aid from the Germans in the east, the military grows far too influential and strikes when the time is nigh, overthrowing the old King. Their strenght however isn't enough as now they must hold out and pacify the outraged nation.

- Union with Romania/Moldova
Before the outbreak of the first world war King Ihor's great uncle moved to the lands of Moldova in the Russian Empire to restake their heritage. With the collaspe of the Russian Empire, brief independence, then unification with Romania King Ihor I is looking to his relative in the area, Aris Kononenko-Mocanu, in hopes that perhaps Carol II of Romainia may be deposed like his son was.

- Union with Hungary
Related by blood, however somewhat distant, is King Ihor's nephew, Kononenko-Kapolcs Dominik. He may be a good canidate to fill in the gap of power in Hungary's interregnum. If he were to gain power by virtue of obninziki's political manuvering, he'd be eternally loyal.

- Return to the homeland + Ciscaucasia
