What
Here's a quality of life mod that automatically disables the decay of needs (food, sleep, recreation) for all pawns during raids. When enemies are present on the map, your pawns needs will be frozen at their current levels. Needs are resumed on raid end.
It works for both raiding other settlements and while being raided by a faction.

Why
I wanted to address a common (or maybe it's just mine) frustration in colonies - managing pawns' needs during raids.

It's no secret that once in a while you're getting blasted by a raid that "decided to wait before attacking", it's total bs from gameplay balance perspective that just causes more confusion. And then when it happens, you ask yourself - should I draft all my pawns now or wait until they start attacking? In hindsight both decisions are grim, because either your pawns end up starving while waiting for the raid to begin, or the enemies reach your killbox before your last pawn is even in position.

Additionally, in very large colonies where wealth is measured in millions, raids are often split into multiple groups. These groups can attack at different times, and if you add a fancy killbox to the mix, a "single" raid can end up lasting for days. Imagine it during a mechanoid raid - it's an easy colony killer unless you have free pawns to rotate mid combat.

Realism and Immersion
In real-life survival scenarios, adrenaline and urgency often override basic needs like hunger or sleep. By freezing needs during combat, it makes colonists behave as if they're prioritizing survival.

Not a hediff
This mod works fully automatically, you don't have to apply anything yourself.
It's very simple too - it checks for raids with hostile pawns. During the raid the needs for all relevant pawns are stored and freezed, but still allow them to increase (for example from eating). Then it returns to normal when there's no hostile pawns on map, enemies are fleeing or they're downed, so basically when the raid is over.

Say goodbye to pawns going into sleep or malnutrition during raids
