I still need to fix some of the broken systems that I broke when upgrading it, and I likely will upgrade it further again. But in general I'm proud of my improvements for survival.
@Zhunter247 the class of ship you're thinking of sounds like a heavy-frigate or light-destroyer. A frigate is small, it was meant to hit fast and hard then get out relatively undamaged if it does get hit. They also aren't designed to work alone, they're meant to be in a small fleet.
I swear sometimes I'm the only one who knows how what ship works when.
You'll have to carry enough parts in that Exposed Large Cargo to repair everything critical to limp back to base for proper repairs.
Light armor exposed bridge will have YOU personally targeted by defense drones and you'll be sniped right out of your control seats the moment they are in range because there isn't a AI Defense block so your turrets have to wait til they are 800 meters away before they start to target them.
It's pretty looking Tin Coffin. nothing but regrets for wasting time and resource to build one.
because it is no DLC, frigate gaming
well done, especially with how you managed to get it to look good without the DLC
