Smellementals mod v1.0 for Shadow of Kerensky

Elementals don't have ER Medium Lasers, so I removed them. Their Small Lasers also aren't Extended Range, so I replaced them with standard Small Lasers. I also moved the firing position of the Small Laser to the barrel of the gun instead of the missile tubes. All other features are unchanged.

This mod will greatly reduce the threat posed by Elementals. It is essentially a cheat, but I frankly did not find the implementation of Elementals to be fun or interesting to engage with. If you are looking for an enhanced challenge, you will not find it here. If you are tired of your AI comrades activating entire stars of Elementals with stray fire and being cut to pieces because they don't understand how to use fire groups or prioritize threats, this mod is for you.

@Tailgate the mod author czolee79 (YAML dude) said that for the two mods to be compatible you'd have to add the stencil spaghetti to your mod, and I'd assume you'd have to put the priority higher than his YAML and QOL mods to apply the loadout changes. If I were to guess, the stencil spaghetti is for the thermal imaging. There was no conflict before Elementals were added to the thermal imaging view.

@Wither Yes and no. By the time the clans came around, PA was more or less lost tech in the way it was used. By the point of the clans PA was only being used for power loaders and as minning equipment. they had been years a head of their time by the time the elementals showed up. SO yes even on able top they where tanky but the issue wasnt that they where tanky it was they where hard to hit with 10hp for armor and 1STR, They could take a couple laser blasts but you had to beable to hit them first on TT. Their goal get in close and rip the meat out, So yes even by the terms of BT, elementals are tanky. im just glad someone fixed the weapons.

thank god someone has made them alittle more lore correct. i was worried about that. ER let alone a MD laser on a elemental or PA would more or less take up the entire weight of tonnge leaveing it slow to move and unable to use its JJ.

@Ketchup_Stain I haven't tested it myself, but that is the same asset this mod touches. I imagine there will be a conflict if both mods are run at the same time.

so i dont have the dlc does the ac-2 not work well against these?

QOL Upgrades 2 by cszolee79 just updated and it touches BP_ClanElemental.uasset. Will that overwrite the changes this mod makes?

yes they do smell funny but dont kiss them you might get warts from them. LOL oh the toads might like being kissed so beware.
