Glide // HMMWV Humvees

This is an LVS->Glide port of this addon.


The HMMWV (High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicle), or Humvee, is a rugged, versatile 4x4 military vehicle developed by AM General in the 1980s to replace aging jeeps and cargo trucks. Debuting in combat during Operation Just Cause and made iconic in Desert Storm, it became the backbone of U.S. military ground mobility—serving in roles ranging from troop transport and gun trucks to ambulances and missile carriers. Though not originally designed for IED-heavy environments like Iraq, up-armored variants extended its battlefield life until MRAPs took over frontline duties. Its wide stance, off-road capability, and modularity made it indispensable across climates and conflicts. The Humvee's silhouette became a global symbol of modern warfare, spawning a civilian counterpart—the Hummer H1—and securing its legacy as the military’s most iconic utility vehicle.

  • Great for taking out large groups of enemies and some lightly armored ground vehicles.
