Bolts are control implants the Order jammed into Kairos’ people. They can be removed. It’s risky. Some folks don’t make it, and those corpses become Dead Bolts you can investigate. Interact with a Dead Bolt to log an ECHO entry tied to that person’s story. When you’re near one, your ECHO map can hint at it, so sweep suspicious nooks, fallen camps, and paths you’d ignore during main missions. You’re not just checking a box. You’re collecting narrative, one body at a time.
