@awchris11 Hey man, so sorry it took me so long to respond. Anyways i have checked and you cant directly load workshop maps via console in hl2. That would require a manual installation which i have also checked and it seems its kind of different for hl2. The workshop files are not appearing meaning manual installation is not possible (also im very sorry for not mentioning you cant directly load workshop maps via console earlier). However i have noticed a bug that may be causing the issue of the map not loading, im gonna patch that as soon as i finish writing this.

If after the patch the map still wont load then i suggest:
1.Reinstalling HL2
2.Disabling any other addons
If all of that dosent work then i suggest searching on the internet and perhaps finding a solution.

This gives me an idea for a game like hl2 but you could spawn stuff down? Perhaps from some kind of menu

What's the console command for this map?

Try reinstalling the map, if that dosent work try loading it via the console.

I tried double clicking it in the workshop tab, but it just brought me back to menu page.

could you please clarify how it isnt launching? Are you getting an error, or it just wont launch? And how did you try to launch it?

Map isn't launching for me.
