The Map...
Welcome to the Marshlands! A small map set in swamp-like terrain during a thunderstorm storm with... Merasmus...? That's right! The infamous wizard Merasmus is back this Halloween but for a rather malicious purpose. We are deployed near Merasmus's vacation home where he left a key component to his EVIL ritual! The briefcase of the damned! This ghoulish and haunted object can summon a world ending amount of spirits! And because of that, Merasmus doesn't want to get close... So he sent YOU to do his bidding! Now go! Collect the briefcase and unleash hell upon the mortal realm!!



...The Flag...
Merasmus's key to unleashing the evil spirits on this swamp! Pick up and hold onto the briefcase for 3 minutes, no more no less to complete his ritual. But be wary, stray too far from its original location and it'll teleport back... So watch out and don't run too far!

i don't suppose it would be possible to make the flag compass hud change color to the team currently holding it, like on doomsday? i know the flag doesn't actually change team affiliation but it would be nice to be able to see it at a glance.

honestly this type of gamemode is something i see worth experimenting for possible non-event maps in the future and maybe might be more fun then regular CTF.

Played on this with some others on my server. The idea is good, but I noticed you can camp with the intelligence out of the rest of the arena if you hop on the bridge via an explosive jump or something that lets you get out of there. It'd be good to extend the boundary to the bridge itself or potentially remove it I do wonder why it's even there. It doesn't really provide much outside of demo/soldier high ground potential or even just sniping sightlines for the rest of the area, but either than that this is interresting.
