Bug Phobia NOT Supported

描述
What you get:
  • Bugs Trap (building): Breeds edible bugs using basic resources.
  • Worms (food): Jar of edible bugs.
  • Bugs Bar (food): A compact, higher-calorie ration made from bugs.
  • Recipe (Microbe Musher): Convert Worms into Bugs Bars.

How the trap works:
Input per batch: 60 kg Dirt + 90 kg Water.
A duplicant must deliver Dirt and Water to start each batch.
Output per batch: 5 kg Worms + 145 kg Mud (solid by-product).
Runs in batches and handles deliveries automatically so it doesn’t get stuck.
Every 1kg of Worms, a duplicate must work for a few seconds (Patch 1.02)

New Foods
  • Worms:
    Calories: 100 kcal
    Food quality: –1
    Eating Worms adds +15% Stress.

  • Bugs Bar:
    Calories: 800 kcal
    Food quality: –1

Balance & experience:
Provides a reliable early-game food loop: Dirt + Water → Worms → Bugs Bar.
Bars are great for bulk calories, but both foods are low quality, so long-term morale still favors proper cuisine. The mud is stored uselessly until you research the mud press, which will return just the materials used.

Future Animation:
Due to the extensive animation I want to do, the building is currently static, but it will be updated with animation of bugs (currently just worms) climbing the poles and landing in the jar. [/p]

Bugs (but not the kind you'd eat...):
When using translations in any language other than English, building codex link disappear.
Layer overlapping errors with the two new items. (Discovered upon launching the mod.)

Localization:

English, Spanish, French, Italian, German, Chinese, Portuguese, Russian, Turkish, Thai, Korean, Japanese, Ukrainian and Polish .



Allowed Calories: (Patch 1.02)
Added "Calories Allowed" to the "Calories Available" menu, so you know exactly how many calories are marked for consumption. Only works when the food is prohibited for all duplicates.




Advanced idea:
New overlay for bugs Although this is a fairly feasible idea in principle, I'll have to practice quite a bit before I can attempt to implement it. I want to clone the germ system in a new overlay, with the germs spreading differently and using bugs. They would start on a single tile near an oxygenated spot, and depending on the bug, they would spread more widely through their appropriate terrain, with ants being the deepest. Other insects would develop outdoors, such as bees near flowers, or cockroaches in the dirt. Fleas would spread in the water, helping to purify contaminated water, including a new type of water called stagnant, which I'll detail later.The materials would include a new parameter to determine how many bugs are inside, and exactly that amount would be extracted, extracting bugs only if the element contains them. This has to be developed in a way that ensures it doesn't affect the game's performance, which is essential.

I haven't added any patches for them to do this. But... would it be useful??? XD I do plan on using them to feed fish and for other things besides eating. In any case, I should add it, like the rest of the foods.

It's a way to get food faster... but it takes work. If you want to wait, plant Mealwood. You have to balance it so that both are good compatible options. But you could also do it twice every 2000g; I'm still testing it. I've created a discussion so I can discuss anything you think of. I'll take note of your feedback! It's incredibly important to me.

though 3 secs,a building will recall a duplicant 3 times a cycle

Yes, similar to compost. I found it more practical to constantly expel mud, so I wouldn't have to dump 145kg of it all at once; I didn't want it to remain in the bin. And I adjusted the movement every 1000g to fit the difficulty. 500g of food in one cycle, compared to 600g with MealLice, which can take three cycles, seemed too easy to me. In any case, the duplicators' workload is much shorter than in compost, just three seconds (animation of two rakes).

now the building exports mud every 5kg and needs duplicants every 1kg worms

At first the mod was going to be called Entomophobia NOT supported, but thinking that it could be very confusing... don't worry, I'm sure if I add fried insect bar, it will go away. And yes, I accept friends XD
