Just pushed an update giving the Validus a minimum size of starfish it is able to eat to fix the issue. Thanks for the bug report!!

Great additions, but it looks like the validus sea star practice cannibalism and autocannibalism. It eats other members of its own species and then it eats itself, making it impossible to keep in a tank.
