Infinity Mining Density

描述
Prevents mining density from dropping below 0.1 and provides minimum ore yield when density reaches the floor.

Save Safe: this mod does not affect your save file integrity. So you can disable it at any moment without consequences.

This is a Plugin Mod.
It requires BepInEx to be installed with the StationeersLaunchPad plugin.

In the endgame, I like to build a spaceport where rockets continuously fly on their own to mine ice. Since rockets were replaced with new ones controlled by computer, this became impossible because mining resources are finite. This mod changes the situation. Now, when density reaches 0.1, it stops decreasing, but mining yield drops to 25%. As a result, rockets become less efficient but fully automated. This allows you to completely step away from base management and enjoy your creations from the sidelines, only occasionally changing consumables.

Really appreciate the fact that you stand by your defaults and suggest them but don't force them on people, if only all devs behaved this way ... good to see.

I've played a lot with the 0.25 multiplier, and I think increasing it isn't right. A higher value makes space exploration and rocket optimization pointless. With 0.25, you have to build the most efficient rocket possible and look for the best deposits for mining. Of course, I don't see the point in disabling this setting either. Everyone can customize it however they want. But I recommend playing with 0.25.

It's customizable. Just select the mod from the list in workshop menu.

on the random chance you are still active in modding on space engineers, what are the chances of releasing a configurable version? or alternatively maybe just a 50% variant instead of 25?

Thank you for this, was my biggest issue with the new rockets ... now i shall actually bother to fully automate it.
