Introduction
Free turn-based battler? sign me up!

I spent a week 100% this game , learning its mechanics, reading the wiki and forum posts and checking some reddit posts too, I usually do achievement guides like this if they are not already available so here we are, although I dont have all the info, I hope the guides helps you enough to complete the game in a timely and fun manner.

Trying out different skills and traits to make a build suiting your playstyle is most of the fun of this game and I got to say, I was very entertained during my 60+ hours playing it.

The game only has 14 achievements and can be 100% in a week or so.

I didnt check out the seasonal dungeons or activities much, just concentrated in 100% the game as fast as I could, I know the Discord has tons of advice and guides you can look up but I dont use Discord much anymore due to personal reasons but you should check it out if you dont have a problem with it.

If you have any tips or builds you'd like to share, leave a comment and Ill gladly add it to the guide!
Any constructive criticism is also appreciated along with any kind comments about the guide you'd like to leave :)

Anyway, check out my profile if you are into these kinds of games, turn-based strategic or tactic indies, Ive completed a lot of them over the years and have some reviews, maybe you'll find one or two for your wishlist!

Ok then, here we go.

Extra Note:
I also made a guide for Buriedbornes 2 if you're interested

Main Interface Explained
Ok, so you just started the game and are a little confused on what you're looking at, the game offers little help on the way of tutorial and explanations but there's plenty of info out there including other guides and the Discord has a lot of guides as well.

* Right clicking anywhere works like closing whatever window opened when you clicked on something.

Let's break it down from top to bottom:
* At the top left, you have the currency interface, at the start, you can see two icons at 0.
These are soulstones (top) and gold shards (bottom), if you click on either of them, a window will appear showing the value of other currencies/items your account has, these are not tied to your character but to your account so even if you die, you keep these.

* The speaking icon is the whisper interface, this is a place where other players leave notes, kinda like dark souls, they might be giving genuine advice or just trolling, its just a fun place to read and explore.

* On the right, the 3 lines "hamburger" button will open a window with lots of links, including links you already can see at the bottom of this main interface, shop, lab, bargain, this button is the same as the "main menu" button below the gift button on the middle right and also the same menu that appears when you press ESC or the right click button on the main interface.

--> Do note that the main menu has 4 sections: Shop, Content, Data List and Other, clicking on any of those words/panels will open a section with even more buttons, each of these will be explained in this guide, just know that you can get in-game gifts by exploring the links and opening the websites/wiki from inside the game through these links.

** Try and quit the game from here: main menu->other->quit game just to prevent any game hiccups.

* Moving on.. Affiliation shows your stance on how to interact with Red Corpses Read [Union/Syndicate] guide section.

* Here you can buy bonus chests by spending gold shards. the chests will give you bonus items you can equip before starting a dungeon run among other goodies, but its better to keep the gold shards for better stuff, unless you want to donate to the game, dont waste your gold on bonus chests.
* On the right side, you have the Gifts button which will allow you to accept mission rewards, the button will also give you access to the missions, little quests you can do to get currency, items and start improving your character.

* Next is your character info, at the start this is where you create a new character.

* Finally, quick access buttons for several places to check out, like the lab, shop, hunt, etc.
You can grab this panel and move it to the right to scroll and see even more options.

Now that you know the general layout of the main menu before creating a character, give these guides a read, they are really good for beginners:
https://psteamcommunity.yuanyoumao.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2916303185
https://psteamcommunity.yuanyoumao.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2917883376

The game also has a wiki:
https://buriedbornes.fandom.com/wiki/Buriedbornes_Wiki

For now, keep in mind that getting Soulstones is very important, since they let you reroll equipment rewards, buy things in town and even unlock new character classes.
Character Creation
So, here is where you create a character and choose which dungeon to start in.

It's mostly pretty self-explanatory, job will let you choose from any unlocked jobs you have, at the start of the game, you can only pick from 4 base classes.

-> To see what a class can do, once you select a job, click on the button statistics detail to see more info, in that window, you can click any line there to see more info.

==> Do note that when you select a job, you can BUY new jobs from here once you have enough soulstones.

-> Clicking on the character's portrait, will lead you to more details like the attack, defense, explore and difficulty ranks, this will help you check how difficult the job will be to use, its will give you an idea but its not a definitive review of the job.
** In this window, clicking on Status will give you perks and skills details similar to the ones you could see when clicking on statistics but it will show you which ones come from equipment, this is very important because as you play as this job, the stats on the equipment you will find will be very similar to the ones you start out with with some exceptions.
-> So for example, if the job has equipment that boosts shields, it will be harder to find equipment that gives maxHP as rewards. If the equipment starts with the Scout trait, it will be far more likely that equipment you find will have that ability too, keep in mind this when you plan your build.

Now you can use the empty text fields here to gear-up before starting the run.

1) Skins, just purely cosmetic, if you want to support the game, go ahead and buy some gold shards and spend them as you wish, including buying nice-looking skins for your character.
You can also get skins through mission rewards and item shop purchases.

2) Destination, you will unlock more dungeons as you clear the 25 floor of dungeons, I strongly recommend you start at the Labyrinth because people have complained getting the king slayer achievement bug because they didnt start with that dungeon and killing the king in another dungeon didnt unlock the achievo for them. Getting to floor 10 and killing the king in labyrinth should be easy as long as you dont fight a buriedborne (red rose corpse) or a tough enemy through a trap in an event.

3) Taking Item, these are consumables or camp items, consumables act like combat skills but have limited uses, once they're used up, they are removed. Camp item can only be sued outside battle but can be reused once its cooldown is back to 0.
** You can also buy these items from here, just like new jobs but be warned, the bought item will only last for one run and the cost will be deducted again each time you start a run with a non-free item selected, yeah, items without cost are totally free.

4) Contract, these are items you can equip that will give you access to 1 to 5 passive skills, it wont show up until you have one contract available, dont worry, as soon as you start getting soulstones and get 500 of them, go to the item shop->soulstone and get a random contract, a mission will refund the soulstones you'll spend effectively giving you the contract for free.
->Eventually, you'll find more contracts and will be able to merge them in the Contract interface in the main menu.

5) Amulet, same as above but these are active skills you can equip before the run, as above, you can get one for free as soon as you have 500 soulstones gotten from missions/gifts.
-> The skill from the amulet will replace the "wait and see" skill if you also have a taken item.
-> There is 1 amulet for each active skill in the game, so if you absolutely need a skill for your build, this is the way to make sure you start with it.
* To remove an amulet or contract, there is a remove button in the item selection after you press the space where the dropdown should be.
-> You cant merge amulets, you can only have 1 amulet and 1 skill from it.

6) Bonus, items that can be found through opening bonus chests, each bonus chest cost 10 golden shards. these items will give you a buff that only works during this specific dungeon run and will expire once you come back to the main interface, again, this option doesnt show up until you have a bonus item available, these are consumed and you'll have to buy another one once the run ends.

*** Presets
You can save a combination of selected job and dropdowns as a preset so you dont have to reselect everything again once you get back to the character creation.

Once you click start, you will start exploring the dungeon.
Exploration and Combat
Pretty straightforward. In each "room" you need to choose between 2 paths, left or right.
Some skills (like scout from ranger job) let you see a set of rooms ahead, so you can make better choices between left and right.

* The room has icons inside that display room buffs/debuffs, wether there are rewards (events/corpses) or enemies. The room color also gives any fight inside modifiers, like shield15% for blue rooms or cooldown+1 to all skills for cyan rooms, etc.

Here you can also right click anywhere and enter a window with lots of options, of special note is the Skill List button at the bottom of the window which will let you get more info of the 5 available skills to you.

* As you progress from room to room, you will eventually find a room with a boss, defeating this boss will let you progress to the next floor, making enemies harder but with better rewards.

* Most rooms have a special effect, for example maze which make the floor exploration longer by moving away from the boss room or rest which will let you heal fully after moving on, you can see what a room effect does by hovering your mouse over its icon once you are inside the room, the icon Im talking about shows up at the bottom, below the 5 cooldown squares.

* Some rooms have events, the skill Exploration might give you a clue on what will happen if you accept the event instead of ignoring it but Avoid Traps skill is better than Exploration.

-> When you get new skills, If you click on a star, you will set the skill to protected, this means you wont be able to change it, this prevents you from changing a skill you like by mistake.

-> To escape, you'll need to click here:

and then click the boot icon, after a few turns, you'll escape or die trying.
-> You can also check out the effect of the room by hovering on the room effect icon (I circled this one in yellow [Torch])

** You might have bad luck and have to fight a wandering BuriedBorne, that means you'll fight a very strong and sometimes broken enemy, if youre starting out, you're doomed. These bastards ended my first dozen of runs and I hated it, one had a shield/barrier build which made it impossible for me to defeat it, another had a petrify build which made my level 8 character petrified and lose in less than 8 turns and another fighter kept tripling attacking me with consistent crits, it was bullcrap.
--> Hazode in the forums taught me that Corpse icon with red roses instead of white flowers are rooms with these Buriedborne enemies, so its now easier to avoid them. Seriously, fact them mofos.

-> There are also powerful monsters called Conquest and Disaster, these are boss-tier (sometimes harder) monsters and always give you legendaries and/or Lab parts if you defeat them.
-> There are also some fights labeled Seasonal, these are as tough as the above, so be ware if you are not ready for it.
Achievements

Slayer
Slay "Ancient King".

* Some players report this achievement is buggy and wont trigger sometimes, I unlocked it by playing labyrinth right away and ignoring the other game modes.
-> This boss can be found on floor 10 and it should be the first achievement you get while playing the game, if it doesnt trigger, pause the run by pressing ESC and then returning to town, quit the game, play the game, continue and then do another fight, hoping it unlocks after winning it.

Conquest (Hidden)
Kill "Old Prophet".

* Floor 25's Boss, this one isnt bugged and you should see it pop as soon as you kill it.

Dungeon Clears
* You clear a dungeon when you clear floor 25.
* When you clear a dungeon, the next set of dungeons unlock, these are 1 rank above, you select them through the create character screen (Destination).

--> Check this guide's section [Dungeon Data] for more info
-> With the Plating ability, easiest path is Weathering->Epidemic->Purgatory

Depth (Hidden)
Clear 100F

* It can be any dungeon, if your build is strong as you clear floor 25, go ahead and try for floor 100.

Rank 2 (Hidden)
Clear a Rank 2+ Dungeon

Rank 3 (Hidden)
Clear a Rank 3+ Dungeon

Rank 4 (Hidden)
Clear a Rank 4+ Dungeon

* Very straightforward, once you have a good build, its just a matter of time and a little luck.

Master
Score 1,000,000+

* Easy to do once your build kicks in, you should get this around floor 20~25 in the labyrinth if you keep doing events and fighting enemies while leveling up, having high luck helps getting higher score per room, i think. This should unlock immediately after reaching 1mil.

-> If you are having trouble with scores, you might find events that look different than the usual, these are cursed events, if you pick up a curse, you will get a penalty but a boost multiplier to your score, so each action that gives points will give even more points to you. (Pandemic curses)

Great (Hidden)
Score 10,000,000+

* I unlocked this at Nightmare dungeon floor 20, you'll eventually get this easily.
(I had an item giving me glorious goal trait which gave me bonus score)

Grind Achievements
You can check Data->Statistics to check your grind counters.

Corpses
100+ Death

* Just get killed a lot, you'll naturally get this or just create new characters and abandon the run to kill them, you can check your death count in Statistics->Play Count

Legacy
Pick 1,000+ equipments up

* You'll need to switch equipment, you'll naturally get this one too, if you want to speed it up, get the Rummage trait or the skill (through amulets).

Skills
Pick 1,000+ skills up

* Same as above but the trait/skill you want is called Glint.

Events
Encounter 1,000+ events

* You dont have to trigger them, just entering a room with an event makes the counter go up.

Monsters
Kill 1,000+ monsters.

Roamer
Kill 100+ roamer.

* These "Roamers" are the red corpses, basically, other buriedbornes.

Walkthrough (kinda)
* Start with clicking on the mission list and checking which missions will reward you for going to external links or just clicking on button, for example, checking the fan art page, opening the whisper interface, going to the wiki, etc, these should give you gold shards and even soulstones sometimes.

* When you get 300 gold shards (through website links missions), go to the item shop->gold shards and buy "Free to equip/remove lab parts"

* The mission to change your account name through the Settings should have rewarded you with 100 dried leaves, go ahead and buy 5 dark studies with them in the Item Shop->Dried Leaves
-> Buy the "Boss Bonus" contract with the 5 dark studies, you'll equip it in the character creation interface.

* Now, choose a job and start doing the easy missions in the labyrinth, kill 1 enemy, kill 1 floor boss monster, etc, the goal is to gather 500 soulstones.

* Once you have the 500 stones, go to the item shop->soulstones and buy a random contract, go to the missions to get 500 stones for doing that, repeat with an amulet purchase.

* If you got a useless random contract, go ahead and salvage it (Operations->Salvage) to get 10 dark studies as a mission reward, if not, salvage the boss bonus contract, with those 10 DS buy the boss bonus contract again, leaving you with +7 DS, you can also choose to NOT buy "Boss Bonus" and get a contract that might help your playstyle more instead.
-> To complete another mission, let's merge two contracts, you should be able to do it like this:

** Also buy a consumable item called "Torch" from the taking items menu during character creation to complete another mission, this will give you +50 (100 reward - 50 cost) stones once you use the torch during the run.

* Now grind out the labyrinth dungeon and search for Red Corpses (corpses with red text instead of white text), those fights will give you fragments of death
-> At the same time, grind out events, you want to find events that will unlock the 3 NPC classes (saint, dark elf and dragoon), you want the dragoon class, you'll lose a bunch of runs but dont despair. Also, keep doing missions to save up 2000 soulstones.

* When you get 23 frags (death fragments) go ahead and buy a random lab part, then proceed to modify any job with it, this will complete a mission and reward you with 100 frags.
** You can buy the part at Item Shop->Death Fragments OR Lab->Develop
-> You can buy more advanced and powerful parts for more frags, but since its early game, just buy the basic one for the reward.
--> To install a part into a job, go to: Lab->Modify then choose a job, installing a part will cost 3 frags unless you bought the perk with gold shards that lets you install for free.

* Now to the bargain shop and buy a cheap part with frags to complete a mission, you should get 100 soulstones this way.

* The next step is to salvage a part, if you like the two parts that you have, go ahead and buy an extra random part for 20 frags. To salvage a part, go to Lab->Parts List then click on the white circle right of the part's name, then click on Dissection, this will award you with a bit of frags and the completed mission will give you 100 frags.

* Continue doing dungeons for death frags to buy parts and make your jobs stronger, gathering soulstones along the way, we want 2000 soulstones to unlock the miner class.
-> You can also find contracts and amulets inside treasure chests that you can find through events, salvage/merge contracts to make you stronger. (Read the mining for soulstones guide for miner build info)
https://psteamcommunity.yuanyoumao.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2917883376

* Once you unlock the miner class, we need to continue farming soulstones using the mining skill from miner so we can get a contract focusing on getting even more soulstones per mine skill activation, for that, every 500 soulstones, go ahead and buy a random contract hoping to get a rare one, rare contracts have 3 skills in them and salvage for 100+ dark studies, so keep grinding.

-> Sell the rare contract and get your 100+ dark studies, quoting from the guide:
"Our goal is going to be a Contract with Golden Cat+2 (so, three lines of Golden Cat), and Teleport and Scout to make finding Tailwind rooms easier."
Go ahead and buy 3xGolden Cat contracts and merge them, also buy a teleport and scout contracts and merge them into the 3x golden cats one.
** Note: You can substitute teleport for something else if you want, like Exploration or some combat-related contract but you'll use this specific contract to farm soulstones mostly but not go deep into a dungeon, maybe something to keep you alive like avoid or a heal boost for an amulet that gives you a heal skill or an auto-heal part.

--> Now go find a Tailwind room with an enemy and spam mining skill unil you have all the soulstones you'll ever want, buy random amulets/contracts with them, unlock new jobs, etc.. find a job/playstyle you like and make it stronger, enjoy the game!

** Read the achievements section if you are looking to 100% this game as soon as you can for guidance on what to unlock next and which dungeons to explore.

** Read the builds section if you're looking ideas of what build to make wih your new found wealth.
Lab and Jail

Both Jail and the lab deal in things that use Death Fragments as currency.

How to get death fragments
1) Kill bosses (extra with Dog job)
2) Kill buriedbornes (red rose Corpses, tough battles)
3) Dissecting parts (sometimes found in events or after battle)
4) Dissecting captured enemies (only if their injury value is above 75)
5) Die to bosses/buriedbornes (very small amount, sometimes)
6) Doing subquests given by friendly buriedborne (some red corpses from your affiliation)
7) Doing conquest or disaster fights, these are found past floor 10 in dungeons by activating Nests or Monumentals.
8) Winning 20 Karma battles in a row (Good luck)
9) Entering the Hall of Fame by clearing Floor 100

Lab and Parts
* To get a lab part, you can find some after a conquest or disaster battle (sometimes), you can also purchase a random part in the item shop (the more expensive options are higher tier and have more powerful effects) or if you don want a random one, the bargain shop sells specific parts, the parts sold there change every day.

Once you have a part, you can install up to 5 parts into a job, when you start a run with that job, you'll have all the part's effects. Installing multiples of the same parts will give you a +X effect but still, you can only install 5.

-> Installing and removing parts cost death fragments UNLESS you buy the perk sold at the item shop->gold fragments which let you install and remove parts for free, that perk costs 300 gold.

Jail
* One of the most complicated systems in the game, basically, you have a very small chance to capture a defeated monster and put them in detention cells.
-> The trait "Add:Capture" will make the chances of capture go way, way up.
When you capture a monster, you can grab a piece of equipment off them, it doesnt matter if you ignore the equipment, the monster will go to detention anyway.
-> There are also active skills that inflict the capture ailment on enemies and amulets that let you start with such skills, the enemy must be afflicted by Capture as it dies to be, well, captured.
-> Captured enemies will always give you a piece of equipment.

Read more info here:
https://buriedbornes.fandom.com/wiki/Jail

-> Combine: once you put a monster in jail (go to the detention, click on a monster and send it to jail) you can then combine it with another monster in detention.
- The abilities of both will mix, if the monster in jail has X ability and the detained monster has it too, it will add up.
-> You cant combine more times than 100 injury, so for example, if you have a monster with 51 injury and another with 52 injury, you cant combine them but you could combine 3 monsters with 32, 43 and 21 injuries.

* Basically, when you combine any new traits that cant be added to the jailed monster will be added to the bottom.

I know I suck at explaining this, read the parts section of this guide for a better explanation:
https://psteamcommunity.yuanyoumao.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2917883376

-> Cost for combining is (Total Injury*10) Death Fragments.

-> Dissect: Gives you some fragments of death and some soulstone when the monster has been combined already, and if the injury is 80% or higher it'll give you the bottom most passive effect on the monster. Combining monsters costs death fragments so Dissect will only give you back some of the fragments back.
Main Menu: Content and Other
* Lots of links here, clicking on some of them will open a browser window which sometimes will give you currency for free.

You can go into missions and see which links will give you the rewards/gifts

-> Do note is that accessing the websites from here will sometimes give you a small currency gift, the gifts will not arrive immediately, but you'll get them, so its a nice beginner move to explore them when starting out to get a small early advantage.

Settings
The settings will let you adjust BGM and SFX volume, acceleration, shortcuts, brightness, etc.
this is where you come and change your display name from "No name" to whatever name you prefer, this label is used when posting whispers.

Saved Data Manager
I really suggest you dont mess with this, it manages your saved data in which you can replace the local data with a backup made by the steam cloud or a previous server data you copied to the server earlier, steam should handle your save data automatically so unless you are really worried, you shouldnt mess with this.

But, if you want to risk it, here's an official explanation of how to use it:
https://sites.google.com/view/bb1-help-en/save-data-manager

Basically, you can only load game data from the title screen and save/backup game data from inside the game once you click "continue" and start the game.

To load data, in the title screen click on the disk icon at the bottom (Data) then click on the arrow pointing down, choose a save state to load:

Loading a save with 0 play time is a way to delete your character progress and start from zero, basically doing a game reset.

To prevent save scumming, a protection was implemented, you have to wait at least 30 minutes after you load a saved state to load another one again.

Unions / Syndicate
Union
Basically, you join an union to modify how you interact with red corpses (red rose icons) during exploration.

NotUrMomLmao from Reddit explained it superbly:

The "Relationship" of a red corpse when found depends from the Union of the player whose corpse you found.

There are four unions: Selfish (gray), Quest (blue), Oath (yellow) and Honor (red). Players are Selfish by default, but you can change your union in the main menu.

If you meet a "Selfish" player, you will get the "Relationship: Neutral" message, which offers you the chance to either receive alms or fight the corpse.

If you meet a player of the same union as you, you will get the "Relationship: Friendly" message, which offers you the chance to either receive alms or accept a small quest from them.

If you meet a player of another union, you will get the "Relationship: Hostile" message, which offers you the chance to either fight them normally, or fight them AND steal a permanent effect from them if you win. (Snatch option)

If you ALWAYS meet "Relationship: Neutral" corpses, it means your union is Selfish.

Source:
https://www.reddit.com/r/buriedbornes/comments/10au1ua/what_does_relationship_neutral_mean_when_you/

Syndicate
To join a syndicate, you'll need to reach a floor past floor 10.

You can share special dungeon configurations with other players. You can also share “Hunt” dungeons. (Basically sharing dungeon seeds)

You can challenge the “Shared Hunt” dungeon if you have already cleared “Labyrinth”.

--> I read somewhere that due to game server migration Syndicates is no longer available but honestly, I didnt try or did much research about it <-

Dungeon Data
Source:
https://buriedbornes.fandom.com/wiki/Dungeons

Ok, so:
You start with only the Labyrinth dungeon, once you clear floor 25, the next rank of dungeon open, all dungeon on the row above Labyrinth will now be accessible.

Each row is a tougher rank.

Tiger's Hole unlocks Trial and Turbulence.

Turbulence -> Sanctuary

Weathering->Epidemic->Purgatory

Universe only unlocks if all other dungeons get cleared.

When you clear a dungeon, a little star is shown over the dungeon's icon.

Dungeon Effects Table
* The effects are applied to all battles inside the dungeon.

Dungeon

Labyrinth
Normal dungeon and has no dungeon-wide effect.

Weathering
Equipment will degrade in quality after normal fights, use Plating to counter.
Rank 3

(need to open in browser to translate if you dont know the language)
Dark Elf
This guide explains how to farm for the Eternal Dark ability which, basically, will make you super powerful if you have a build that lets you find legendaries.
https://psteamcommunity.yuanyoumao.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2912213796

** You dont need to be a dark elf for this build to reach its full potential, any job will greatly benefit from absorbing legendary's unique abilities, just be careful because Eternal Dark has Spirit Body.
-> For reroll builds like the above, I also recommend Kinton gold (free rerolls), Alchemy (+2 rerolls) and Empower rerolls, gambling +2 will grow your luck quickly to start pulling off legendaries.
--> Also note that Elemental Dark is an INT accesory, so not all jobs can easily find it on rerolls and you'll need decent luck to pull legendaries often to grab 1 or 2.

I also found this reddit guide a little bit late, I already had my fav build going but if you are still looking for info and builds, I urge you to check it out.

Honorable Mentions
Traveler
* More events + Exploration makes it easy to powerup.
* Starts with teleport and limit break, so you can grab a stacking contract (like max HP/Shield stacking) and go to town
Necromancer
* Gains barrier each time you gain shield, get an amulet that gives shield and contracts to reduce the skill cooldown and make stronger barriers, you're set.
* Make you to get that trait that sets your HP to 1 but makes you immune to penetrate. (Spirit Body)
Elf
* Same as above but you gain barriers when damaged, a little bit riskier but with the right skill, you can damage yourself and trigger your barriers.
Fairy
* Barriers always block but you have a small chance to lose 2 of them every turn.
* Starts with Spirit Body`
Sylph
* Barrier will always block if you have 3 or less barriers.
Elf Mage
* Every turn you lose 2 barriers but all your skill cooldowns get reduced by 2.
* Good with an amulet that grants barrier, its ok but not my favorite.
Automata
* Immune to status ailments but cant control, as if inflicted with Confused.
Fanatic
* Double reflect damage, fun if you like to play with Reflect.
Tengu
* You gain Avoid status instead of barriers.
* He starts with AfterImage+1 which makes you invulnerable for a turn if you avoid, so yeah.. powerful stuff if you can make barriers consistently.
* One of his skills gives him avoid 100% for 5 turns at battle start.
Demon
* Unique ability makes all skill cooldowns be zero.
* Starts with blood armor and limit break.
- You will die after killing 100 monsters but the skill "Contract Renewal" enables you to delay your death by paying frags.
Saint
* More power the more HP you have.
-> Put some Overheal/HP boost, Limit Break, HP/level, +Heal%, etc to get lots of HP.
-> Get Revelation and/or Angel Army Amulet to do damage when you heal.

Farming builds
Miner build to farm soulstones read here:

Dog build to farm death fragments, since its special unique skill gives frags after a boss kill.
* Get the Climbing contract to acquire the Field Survey trait, add +15 Luck, Frenzy or Mirror to it.
* Get an Add:Capture part so you can get frags from captured monsters if they have 75+ injury OR get the amulet that gives the Capture or Spirit Bite

Scavenger starts with Collector trait, which doubles stones and frag gains.

Notes on Abilities
I didnt see or record all abilities, but here are some notes.

Overheal
It only triggers if your current HP is below Max HP, so if your autoheal cures you to above max HP at turn's start, that Full Healing skill that is supposed to double your HP wont work.
HP Boost doesnt give you Overheal effect.

Explore vs Avoid Trap
Avoid Trap is superior since it lets you ignore negative event effects AND combat delayed damage.

Blood Armor
It might look like a good idea, turn negative status effects into HP damage but you can get 1-shot with this on.

Immobility
Useful to prevent status effects during battle but that means you cant buff/debuff during battle
either, making it terrible for some builds, since you cant debuff, you cant inflict capture status on enemy.

Rare Abilities
Eternal Dark
How it works: when you "Accept" a legendary equip, its main trait (yellow top one) will be absorbed into your permanent ability list and you'll equip the item which now has its top trait missing, some named items dont have yellow top traits so they wont be absorbed.

Sad Melodies
Status effects affecting you, (buffs and debuffs) always last 3 turns.

Steadfast Stance
1stToGetThisName:
"Particularly useful if you often get desirable effects that come in 1s, or undesirable ones that come in large amounts. For instance, in the case of Lycanthrope it will turn your 1 beast mark per turn to 5 beast marks per turn, while reducing poison received from, say, poison needle to 5 and petrify to 5%, this backfires if you have desirable status effects that you gain more than 5 of, e.g. Somersault will only give 5% instead of 25%, Dragon Fang would only gives 5 reflect"

New Door
Grants Limit break+100 and always confused (can nullify this with Willpower).

Mushrooms
Blocks all negative status ailments except Petrify from Evil eye.

Trans
Numerical values of equipment change from room to room, might be lower or higher.
More like a curse than a blessing, avoid.

Royal Road vs Overlapping vision
Road removes all room effects, including nests and monumentals, so.. say goodbye to those rewarding fights, it also overwrites vision's effect of every room having an effect.
On the other hand, if youre going for a quick dungeon clear, its very useful in avoiding hard fights.

Dealing damage off your HP
Revelation, Angel Army => damage = healing value
the last Erratic Evolution => DEX power = HP.
Wrath of the Giant => Reflect Value
Bottomless Water = Heal when you use a skill with CD>5 (and do damage)
