Pullman 1926 Illinois Central EMU car

Illinois Central is a series of electric trains manufactured at the Pullman factory since 1926. It became the basis for the initial fleet of electrified trains on the Illinois Central suburban line, now known as Metra Electric. When new, it replaced aged steam locomotives on the suburban line south of Chicago and was always coupled to an unpowered trailer car to create a two-car motor-trailer set.
