Woodlouse Class Mining Vessel

A small mining scout intended to be used for gathering resources on a server that may not allow players to own a large amount of drills.

Stats:

<> Small Grid
<> 2 large cargo containers
<> 2 drills
<> Ion thrust
<> 4 batteries
<> 4 small oxygen tanks
<> 1 small hydrogen tank
<> Spaceflight only
<> Unused AI flight, task, and defensive blocks ready for customisation
<> Automatic recharging when docked at a station

Pros:

<> Able to bore mine when terrain clearing mode is enabled
<> Able to operate for long periods due to the fully ion thrust
<> Reasonable cheap provided you have a reliable source of thruster components

Cons:

<> Only able to operate in space
<> Thruster components are required
<> Sluggish - especially when full of ore

Tips:
<> Disable the event controller via the toolbar when docking at a station that you cannot receive power from (e.g. a trading outpost)
<> Install a sorter on the station's connector and set it to drain all in order to automatically deposit ores
