Murino is a city (since 2019) in the Leningrad Region of Russia. The administrative center of Murinsky urban settlement of Vsevolozhsky municipal district.

Due to the high density of multi-storey buildings in the Murino area, a series of jokes have appeared on social networks, in particular, on the popular TikTok video hosting site, comparing this area with a hypothetical architectural phenomenon that can be called a "gigahruschevka." By "gigahrushchevka" is meant a large-scale apartment complex with no clearly defined boundaries and no entrance/exit.

These jokes are based on a reference to an already existing media image, where Murino is described as an endless residential area from which it is impossible to get out. This concept was adapted to create humorous content on TikTok, which contributed to its popularization and distribution
