Mike Voorhess is an explosives expert.
Building them, using them, disarming them—nothing compares to his skill.
At least, that’s what people say about him…

He once served as a grenadier for the Legion in Grand Chien. Their mission: carry out a coup d’état by breaching the government building and capturing the President.
Mike knew the place well, having worked there as a receptionist before. He knew exactly where to strike, and where security would fail. In Grand Chien, guards were few… even for the President.

After blasting open a section of the presidential kitchen wall with TNT, Mike placed food crates labeled Knacki near the rubble.
Inside, however, he had hidden several charges of TNT, each rigged with a radio detonator.

The guards on duty, panicked and armed with their FAMAS rifles, rushed to the site. They spotted the crates and, believing them to be supplies, carried them into the main hall. In such a poor country, even at the highest levels of government, no one wasted the chance to secure food.

Time passed…

An hour later, the Legion team—disguised in stolen security uniforms from the black market—waited near the main entrance. Then came a faint click.
Mike Voorhess had pressed the trigger.

The explosion tore through the building with such force that even the soldiers were hurled across the muddy ground surrounding the compound.
The rest of the story remains classified… for good reasons.

In the aftermath, for reasons of his own, Mike deserted the Legion and joined the communist rebels.

Today, he also offers his services through A.I.M., selling his deadly expertise to the highest bidder.
His comrades mockingly call him “Knacki,” a cruel reminder of the operation that made his name.
