描述
"Encore! Again! Until you get it right."

Though Duelist can be an extremely fun hero, I find she tends to suffer more weaknesses than most of the rest of the cast - low reach, the lowest max HP in the game, and weak round 1s - without most of her moves being strong enough to compensate. The goal of this mod is to increase her playstyle diversity and reduce redundancy in her kit without buffing her strongest playstyles nor making her unbalanced within the cast.

Currently, wanderer is the only path implemented, but I intend to update this mod with the rest of her paths, and I'm open to both feedback and suggestions either through steam, or via discord @meadowstream8

Touché - Inverted Movement Ranks

Feint - Launches from any rank (likely to be reverted when Instructrice changes are implemented), slightly higher damage, gives a random stance on mastery when you have none

Disengage - Hits 2-3-4 instead of 1-2-3, and removes riposte on mastery

Flick - Now hits rank 3

The Boot - No longer requires a stance

Again - Less likely to remove your stance, provides an extra action instead of a cooldown reset

Coup de Grâce - No longer requires a stance, no longer innately ignores block or weaken. The block and weaken ignore is now a defensive stance effect, and when aggressive, you instead gain +2 flat damage

Ruthless Instruction - Ruthless+ is now the unmastered move, and the move scales on mastery (1 dodge+, 1 dodge in defensive, strength in aggressive)

I think you shouldn't have removed the cooldown reset, i think non-upgraded one should keep cooldown reset but only in defensive stance, the upgraded one should have extra action on aggresive stance or cooldown reset on defensive stance but that's just my opinion because the extra action is pretty powerful even with only 2 usage's.

oh hell yea, all these changes feel so right. Duelist is likely the weakest hero of the roster which sucks since she's really fun, these changes make her skills less of a pain in the arse to deal with. Feint granting a stance is specially cool to me, means you can open up with that move instead of touché for example. The inverted movement in touché, from what ive thought up in my mind, works specially well for lunge spam which is a big yes in my books. I wouldn't mind seeing Disengage's dodge getting buffed a bit further, like an extra dodge token, since to me it still doesnt feel like a great button to hit from my own experience.
Again! turning into an extra action makes so much sense, its no longer a useless button!
Coup de Grâce being available on aggressive for some extra punch is fun, more gun is always good.

I think it'd be interesting if you changed the Academie Ring to make you switch stance every turn
