FOR STAR WARS GALAXY AT WAR MAPPERS ONLY


Purpose:
For map creators to save a lot of time in placing down crates to act as cover or detail for their maps. For all of my maps, one of the last phases is the "cratification/detailing work" I always load up this map and copy and paste all these asset prefabs into my new map. Rather than vanilla sandbags, this adds a more star wars aesthetic to the map while providing cover for the AI so battles are more interesting.

Instructions:
Just load up this map: "darthbacons gaw crate prefabs for mappers only db" and there will be a big selection of crate configurations. Just copy (CTRL+C) the selections that you want, then load up your map or any map you want to edit, and paste (CTRL+V) it in f2 mode off to the side of the map. Now you just have to place them around your map and fine tune the crates with the geography. All the crates' constraint are set to none so copy and pasting won't mess up the deviations. This saves time and effort.

-Tip for map creators, you can change the color/hue of any asset to your liking to better blend it with your maps atmosphere

hey man question, can you make like building blocks of different sizes to make custom buildings? Like doorways, windows, narrow walls, corners, etc? I was thinking like concrete look, space ship look, wood wall, maybe stucco look etc? Stretch, but I do editor big time.... an entity pack to build with would be cool.
