Ferfrans SOAR CQB with Aimpoint (M16)

FERFRANS Special Operations Assault Rifle (SOAR) in a CQB configuration, modelled from scratch by yours truly.

SOAR is a family of AR-15 variants designed by a pair of Filipino-American brothers that founded the Ferfrans company. First introduced in 2004, the SOAR consisted of two main parts: the bolt carrier group and the muzzle brake. Tackling the issue of muzzle climb on full automatic firing, the Ferfrans Rate Reduction System (RRS) helps to reduce the rate of fire of a standard M4A1 rifle from 850-950RPM to 550-650RPM.
SOARs are currently predominately marketed to Special Forces units in South East Asia, such as Malaysian Special Action Unit, Indonesian KOSTRAD and Filipino Special Operations Command.
